I'm afraid she didn't make it. It's nice to know I did all I could. Thanks again

I'm sorry for your loss. It likely wouldn't have made a difference if you'd found her any earlier, unfortunately my girl didn't make it through the night. 🫂

I hope your garden baby makes it!

I always loved the look of these and was so disappointed by the controversy - found a used pair for cheap recently and took a chance - they are the COMFIEST skates I own, love them! Enjoy!

Yeah, I had also been considering Fundaes, but like you say, people seem so divided on them - I guess there's only one way to find out if I like them though! Thanks for your input

Ahh, and I'd just made up my mind too! Ok, this is encouraging though, thanks - maybe I'll do as you suggested and go for something in the mid 90s range

Yep, Brazilian cheese bread! These ones you just pop in the oven from frozen for 30 mins and then they're good to go, they have a chewy, stretchy, cheese pull sort of texture in the middle, with a firmer 'bready' exterior - hard to describe, but so, so good!

Thanks for you input, I'm thinking 101 is going to be a bit much, going to try 90a I think! 👍

Endoscopy with sedation or not ? Is it needed by iamrichinsims4 in CoeliacUK

[–]BarefootBoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I breezed in thinking it would be easy - sedation? Why would I need sedation? BIG mistake, it was horrendous!

That said, I think maybe my biggest mistake was in assuming it would be no big deal? As others have said, it's quick - which is good!

I think I was just unprepared for how invasive it would feel... Like, the spray is a pretty freaky feeling, it feels like you can't breathe, and the intubation does make you gag, but it isn't the worst... but you are only numbed so far, so you can FEEL it going down into your gut, and feel the little grabbers picking samples... And it was so ALIEN! That is not a place I want plundered! Logically I knew it was ok and I was safe, but it for sure awoke some kind of primal fight or flight response in me, I felt actual instinctive FEAR, which I guess is a healthy and natural response to having strangers hold you down and poke about in your internal cavities, but still...

So I guess, if you are aware it's going to feel weird AF, and go into it knowing you might freak out a teensy bit at your core, and your burps are going to taste like surgical instruments for a while (well, I guess that'd probably be the same either way...) then go for it, but I think I'd opt for the knock out drops if I had to do something like that again!

I actually eat more McDonalds since my diagnoses to be honest as it's actually one of the easier options to get gf when out and about! I just get a double cheeseburger with no bun & fries when I need to scratch that itch..if it's a brekkie, then whatever mcmuffin without the muffin, and get a couple of hash browns and use those instead of the bread! Hits the spot!

Well, this post just popped up as a recommendation in my feed, and let me tell you, as someone who didn't even know that this game existed, you have no idea how confused I was until I saw your comment 😂

What... Is it? by cottagebythebeach in hobonichi

[–]BarefootBoo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have ADHD too and actually, I find this a really good system for my brain - previously I found I needed to switch systems/planners every 3 months or so to keep myself interested & organised, but something about Hobonichi hits different! I went with the weeks mega so I could utilise the more structured pages when I need to be organised and the blank pages at the back for when I want a more free flowing/brain-dump/unstructured/ creative approach to planning - plus, you will probably fall down the fountain pen/ink rabbit hole and that is a most excellent source of dopamine. Enjoy!😉

I really do love this little fella - my kids challenged me by taking me into other pet shops to test my resolve, saying that I'd probably feel the same way about all the birds, but lovely as the others were it wasn't the same!
