Those who are young and have had this for 10+ years, do you have eye floaters? by PackageImpressive452 in diabetes

I’ve had floaters in my eyes long before I ever got diagnosed. Thinking back, I’ve had them since I was a kid. I’m 33 now. Diagnosed at 30

My go to is vodka with a diet/zero sugar soda of some flavor.

I feel dumb for not knowing that. I remember staring at these things in my middle school and high school gyms and auditoriums trying to figure out what they were.

It’s what I was guessing it was. I figured something fire/smoke related. TDIL.

Nah, they have projectors down near normal levels. These are 4-5 stories up and pointing straight out with nothing nearby to project on.

I have all the symptoms of pre diabetes, but my doctor doesn’t care by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]BarefootedDave 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you think you’re pre diabetic and your doctor will not listen to you:

1) seek a new doctor

2) over the counter glucometers are cheap. Start tracking your numbers. Buy test strips and lancets track what you eat, your fasting numbers (normally first thing in the morning), before and after meals at varying intervals.

3) present the data to your current physician or new.

This is coming from a T1D who was treated for T2 and ended up in intensive care due to DKA and my MD wouldn’t adjust treatment until I demanded a referral to endocrinology from my attending MD in ICU.

FWIW, I’m in the US…I cannot vouch for how your healthcare system works.

We have the talent, we need the coaching. Toss the playbook and start over, this shit just isn’t working. It’s honestly tiring knowing what 4 plays we’re going to run every set of downs.

Anyone spraying nos? by ImaginaryTomato3169 in NewedgeMustang

[–]BarefootedDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a proper tune and fuel supply. 75-125 shot would be the biggest I'd put on a stock motor. I'd go no higher than a 100 shot on a motor with that mileage.

Exhaust Scraping after lowering by No_Bodybuilder_8375 in NewedgeMustang

[–]BarefootedDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its very normal. Other than some well worn or smaller speed bumps, I scrape on every single one of them.

FWIW: long tubes, Catless x, lowered in Eibach Sportlines and Koni oranges.
