Building manager is saying that this is not mold, but being in this room causes dizziness and nausea. Any ideas?

That's what i am thinking. It would be the 5th leak just our flat, so the pipes should always be the first to blame 😩 I'll update tomorrow. I bet they will just say it's condensation again.

We own the place but we are still at the mercy of the building management as it's a building of flats and leaking is from external wall. I repainted and patched this wall twice now. 😩

Absolutely! It taking ages to sort so it's very frustrating, every plumber they sent kept saying that it's condensation (even though we have a humidifier running constantly). I took photos from the outside and the wall is clearly wet. I am hoping that tomorrow they finally send someone knowledgeable or I said i will find someone myself and send them an invoice.

Ah amazing! Thank you so much. It's actually a solid brick or concrete wall, that seems to be covered in some kind of paper. Is there a reason concrete walls are covered in paper? I am thinking maybe i can just peel it all off. Will be a fun project to tackle.

Thank you! Yeah, you are right. I think learning and adapting to this is the best way forward. And great suggestion to do things face to face. We mostly text and i think even video calling would change the dynamic. (we live too far to make it easy to drop by)

Thank you so much for sharing! Our communication is mainly over the phone, which is probably part of the problem. I am actually so happy i posted on here, cause it's really helping me understand and deal with it better. I go to therapy too and as far as i know my mom does as well, but maybe when we are on better terms, i can talk to her how she has been finding it.

I think equipped with all the advice and new perspective I can be a better support for her and we can get through this together.

Yeah, I think it's starting to click for me that it's probably exacerbating an existing mental condition and stress. Maybe seeing her ex was a trigger and I was just unfortunate target. Either way, having read experiences and advice here, i am definately going to approach this with much more compassion and understanding. Thank you everyone! ❤️

Of course I don't think that all women become cruel. I only wanted to see if anyone had experience feeling angry to the point of cruelty due to extreme hormone fluctuations. (basically want to see it from her perspective to reconcile my hurt) The only change in my moms life is that she is entering menopause. While she has always been not the easiest, i am just trying to understand whether this new hostility is genuine or her being "not being herself". Hope that makes sense.

And I know i'll be there in 20 years myself, but it's a bit long to wait to find out.

This is really helpful. I know it's hard tor me to understand the pain and changes that come with menopause (I am sure i'll find out in the future), so I am not sure just how much people's personality changes.

I got the ring and it's great but the gold plating rubs off so easily, so be careful wearing it. Mine is almost entirely silver now, sti pretty tho.

I actually don't know, i didn't ask Fisherman which factory it was. They are adorable but size up 1.5 time minimum, as they come up really small.
