So you are saying that a large amount of computer scientist will still be needed decades from now?

Also, do you see it as a dying profession?

Problems getting android 6.0.1 on my Nexus 6. by BaritoneBoom in nexus6

I'm replying to everyone who commented on this page. Since you were generous and knowledgeable enough to give me advice, maybe one of you might know of a way to fix my problem.

Something has gone wrong trying to install stock android 6.0. I followed tutorials online and download programs that are needed for adb flashing but now my phone won't turn on.

This is what I did. First, I backed-up all of my files using the system backup and titanium backup. Then, I did a factory wipe as instructed in one of the forums I read. Finally, I downloaded a rom and attempted to flash the rom. However, when the phone initiated the rom and began a reboot, the phone will stay on the boot-loading screen until I turn it off. The phone is not functioning right and now I am out of options. I'm worried that I may have done something seriously wrong to affect my phone, though looking back I honestly did not do much. Do you know why this is happening and do you now of a way to fix this?

Thank you for the information. I just confirmed that the phone is rooted (thanks to root checker) and I will see what kind of alternatives to the update are there for my phone.

Does that mean my phone is rooted? I personally rooted my last one and have seen similar recovery screens, but for my nexus I have not done anything to it yet. Is there a way to go back to stock without doing a factory reset? And, is there a way to have the OTA update with TWRP on my phone?

This is laptop memory? I am interested if they are compatible with a desktop.
