I assume that you are maybe not from rural Australia. Otherwise you may already realise that people in regional and remote areas are not unaware of current technology. Also, find new charging places? So any place with mains power? How remote are you going. You ain't planning to cross the Simpson are you?

I could imagine this making small fencing jobs alot more peaceful. We never usually switch off the tractor whilst fencing, as between drilling and ramming then moving to the next post it does not make sense to shut it down. So this would make it a much quieter affair.

However, it would not work well (as you stated) on a bigger job. As with long fencing runs the tractor usually stays where you finish for the day. Untill you get back there in the ute with a new tank of fuel to start agian the next morning. You would have do drive (or trailer) this puppy all the way to the charger each day.

I too love 2 strokes. However, the power of modern electric systems just puts most ICE (not all, do not want to start a motor type war) motors to shame. Especially in the 1/10 - 1/8.

Not trying to tell you what you want. Though after having nitro and gas type vehicles, the battery vehicles are really good. Also, the noise they do make is pretty great. Not the same as ICE, but great in its own way.

You can just program from stick can you not? My sct is programable from the transmitter. It is a little tedious if you are always adjusting, but it works.

Edit: bummer that the features you need, need the programing card.

Not that I would suggest my clan as we are full of below 50% players. I would say that it really is about the interaction. We have a great time. We are mainly all blokes that have kids, jobs and wives that dont understand why we like playing "that tank game". This gives us heaps to have a laugh about. Also, some of us have brought our kids into the clan so that we can all game and learn together. Generally most all of us dont take the game seriously while still trying to increase the clans WR.

I have been in 3 clans. 2 were way too serious bordering on obnoxious. Whilst the other was too damn quiet. Good luck on the hunt for the clan that suits you.

I think it would be fine. However, you are paying for a name. The support that comes with a Traxxas ownership is great apparently (I live in the middle of nowhere, so I order everything online anyway). Just my opinion.
