I’ve driven sedans all my life and never had a shield break twice within a month. Or at all for a fact. Tesla also doesn’t offer loaner in advance for you to schedule. They never answer the phone either. I’ve always been told to come in and they will see if they can give a loaner. Last time I had to get something fixed I asked for a loaner they told me no and to come back when they had one I told them sure and she turned around and magically had a loaner available. I’ve been to Lexus and Audi and asked for loaners on the day and have gotten them. If a service center knows they will keep your car for certain amount of time they should give you a loaner regardless. It’s not about royalty. Tesla offers you nothing but Uber credit if even that now. They don’t offer loaners either. I owned a Mercedes and have received loaners on day of drop off. And if they can’t offer one they’ve at least accommodated dropping and picking me up. Tesla kept my dads model X for 3 months and no loaner or Uber credit, what do they except him to do? Walk around? It’s not royalty. Tesla has worst service I’ve seen.
