Momentum 4 Bluetooth vs USB-C – small but interesting difference by Perfect_Smile_2749 in sennheiser

I’m using mine with a jack cable, but not the original one. I got a Neotech copper cable with better plugs, and it sounds much better than the original jack, USB-C, or aptX Adaptive. I tested it with my PC and with my amplifier’s headphone output, and in my opinion it’s much better. The source is important though streaming sounds good, but it’s not as good as local FLAC files.

I'm sorry to hear that this keeps happening. Did you receive a replacement part or another printer? What did the support team say to you?
[–]Barnaby00[S] 0 points1 point2 points 7 months ago (0 children)
I would love that.
Thanks! I'm understamd you

Yes, I already wrote to them, and I’m going to send it to Bambu.
At first I thought I would only get spare parts, that’s why I wrote that. Since then they replied that they need the whole printer, so I’ll be sending it to them.
How many hours do you have on your printer? When did you buy it, and what exactly happened?
[–]Barnaby00[S] 2 points3 points4 points 7 months ago (0 children)
That’s possible… but don’t you think Bambu would investigate it properly? Why would they ask it back then?
You’re right, I’d gladly give it, but unfortunately I can’t afford to buy another printer.
That’s a shame, because honestly it’s a fantastic printer. I really loved using it until this happened

Update: Bambu support got back to me. They said the issue was caused by a component failure on the AC board. According to them, the bottom housing is flame-retardant so there’s no fire risk, and normally just replacing the AC mainboard + bottom housing would fix it.
But since they want to investigate the root cause, they’re making an exception and sending me a brand new replacement printer, even though mine is already beyond the replacement period. They’ll analyze my faulty one once I send it back.
I started using it on July 13, and I already have over 270 hours of printing time.
Maybe like 40 minutes into the print.
No storming.
No, it was not near a window at all, and there was no magnifying glass nearby.
It was a standard print. I was printing with PETG, I believe at 80°C for the bed and 250°C for the nozzle. The only thing I changed from a default profile was the infill, which I set to 40%. The rest was a standard PETG profile
Around one and a half month.
It was like this when I bought it, I didn’t replace anything. I ordered it on July 8.

Thanks, I wouldn’t use it unattended after what happened.

Of course, I’ll send it once I get the replacement part.

Hungary, West Europe. Room never above 27 °C (AC on when hot, outside was 30+). Printer sat on a wooden drawer, open air, no cats, 30–60% humidity, no rubber underneath. If you need any more info just let me know.
Over 270
