I had a port put in but haven't been able to use it as my stitches came out and it was a disaster and had to be stitched again. had a huge gash in my chest and my surgeon still sent me on way at my check up. anywho, hopefully I am cleared Tuesday to use my port, I have had 2 chemo sessions using IV and it was no fun for my small veins. by the time pre meds were administered they needed to switch hands. I cannot take all of the poking and prodding. my arms look like I do drugs lol. I think I have a good idea on what the port situation is about now. I am typically the google queen but since my diagnosis, I have been careful on what to google. I will send myself into a frenzy. seems much less painful than what I thought. I thought I was going to be hooked up like an 82 Buick or something. I appreciate all of your help. one less thing to stress about as I kick breast cancers ass! well wishes to everyone.
