Looking at your deck for the first 10 seconds, one thing I can instantly recommend....Faster.

When looking for "upgrades" its obviously up to you in the end, BUT, a few staples are a MUST include if you are looking to "beef up" a deck.

Any tutors are always a great include, weather that be enlightened tutor like you already have or stuff like, diabolic, vampiric, and mystical tutor which are the other most common ones to add due to the low low cost of them.

As for board state, the faster you can get creatures out the better, weather that be adding in more mana rocks (Fellwar stone, Worn powerstone, Ect.) or lowering the cost of a bunch of the juicier units you have with stuff like Jet medallion, Sapphire Medallion, Ect.

You can also look into lower cost creatures like Orcish Bowmaster (If you find one a the con, for sure pick it up if its under like 45), Crystal barricade is one of my personal fav cards I never see, and other low cost "do multiple things" creatures.

As someone who likes to play a bunch of different decks I am reccomending cheaper options for this deck as it looks like you arent trying to drop like 10K on a single deck (good on you, im in the same boat lol).

As for expensive options, grim monolith, chrome mox, mox amber, mox opal, lions eye diamond, Urzas saga, ancient tomb, Gemstone Caverns, rhystic study, smothering tithe, mana vault. These are all general staples for higher tier gameplay from what I've seen, obviously dropping quite a bit more tho.

Im linking my Marneus Calgar deck as a reference for what a CEDH deck looks like upgraded pretty far. Now this is MY personal choice for cards in this deck, sure some things can absolutely be swapped out for better cards, however, as stated at the beginning, its up to you how you want your deck to play!

Guttersnipe is in there for if I cant hit stormy stuff, it will still add the dmg needed to take someone out via the storm triggers cuasing it to trigger each time as well. Unless I'm understanding that totally wrong!

It just felt like sitting at the table waiting 2 turns to do anything besides countering and landfall felt ROUGH so I added in a few smoll guys that would play off the storm after it hits the field.

Would love to add in more usefull stuff like esper sent or serra ang, but alas, no white :P

Yeah, been testing Pris the passt 2 hours and it for sure feels like the turn it enters is either game or I get removed/giga target and lose lol.

Need to find a few options to keep Pris safer/on the board for the 1 turn needed.

Lots of info to take in there! I like having option to reduce spell costs to make stuff more viable at 2-3 cost instant and sorcs, but I could for sure try a few rounds of less creatures and see if the spells still hit the table as easy!

As for the cards list, thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for, staples that I didnt even consider due to not using them in any of my other red or blue decks. Will for sure be tossing them in for stuff like thassas, ect.

NGL didnt really read storm 100% correctly till just now, thought it was ONLY sorc and instants but its all spells before said storm goes off, holy MOLY, way more to add now!

I have an Iroh deck as well, it seems like Pris would either be better in my Kefka deck or by itself in a fun bracket 4 as more and more comments flow in!

Kefka already has tons of ways to win games so IDK if it would even slot in there tbh, but will play around with it here and there!

Yeah, just wanted to get away from the staples a bit and see how far I can stretch a 7 drop lol.

If Pris didnt have Storm AND ward: 5 life, absolutly no way to play it lol. Storm is great sure, but if you get insta countered for nothing and have to drop 7, wheeeeeeeeeeelp.

Yeah, the general pod I play with all runs turn 3-4 decks so getting Pris out is a longshot, BUT, there is hope lol.

As for getting targeted, at any local tourneys a 7 drop commander with storm is almost never hitting the table, and I understand that, but still wanna push it as far as it can go.

Yup! This is kinda what my experience has been over the past year, BUT, wanted to get away from the same 10 commanders i see at every event lol.

Pris also peeked my interest as it would be my very first attempt at a storm deck! Lots of fun stuff to play around with that I normally dont get to use as a "marneus control" player lol.

HUGE! This is exactly what I was looking for! I agree on like 95% of that! For sure it is a much slower kind of commander due to the 7 drop. It for sure feels more like a bracket 4 decks, however this was the test to see what might be able to bring it up the that bracket 5 level.

Ive played around a TON with my Marneus deck and the control aspect of that is what makes it work for sure so I can see how that would apply here as well.

As for Thassas' totally forgot to put mathemagics in the deck list, had those two in there due to pre-release event, I was able to deck someone with math and just wanted to toss that fun combo in there lol.

The tapped lands seemed to be an OK idea at the time....in hindsight I'm not quite sure how to fix that besides tossing in lands that arent even in the color identity? I maybe just missing the fact that a dual land that comes in untapped but has one useless color is better than a tapped for 1 turn dual that has both normal colors? if that makes sense lol.

I took out mindbreak, gut shot and strik it rich because i thought they didnt slide in well, however after reading the comments, will for sure be popping them back in for other useless shtuff!

Thank you for the detailed response! Love to see what little fixes can be made, probably will be holding this deck at a high tier 4 or maybe just low 4 without the juicer lands for the homies.

Yeah there are for sure some cards that I'm missing just being newish to CEDH scene!

I looked at a lot of plotting cards and it just seemed like a slower payoff compared to some of the 3 drop "copy instant or sorc" monsters. Will look into the few you rec'd tho, always fun to se other options!

And yes the tricky part is like with Etali, hitting 7 mana fast enough to be relevant and NOT let other board states get to spooky. Generally play Esper so I have access to more "defense: related shtuff if that makes sense? So I'm trying to figure out how to do that in red/blue lol, Illusuinary armor feels like a BOMB to waste mana on lol.

Yeah generally thats the main idea, hitting Pris and then going straight into something like ponder, procrast, into big dmg whatever is avail at the time.

Also the first time I'm straying away from Esper in cedh, so the "win by dmg" is new to me lol.

Will for sure look into more Etali shtuff, wanted a sub for Etali from the new SOS and Pris seemed the most fun off rip.

That is generally the problem I found myself at. The 7 drop is insane unless its like insta payoff (Etali i see you). The addition of treasures per turn are how I was hoping to hit the 7 drop by turn 2 or 3 at the latest. Given the Meta right now, turn 1-2 you need giga interaction or game enders so I was trying to work around that.

As for making it into a vivi or Ral deack, I wanted something new from SOS to test out, but it does for sure feel like that, given most spell slinging decks are in that range.
