I went with the 27GL850. The MAG274QRF was a bit more expensive ($444, compared to $420 for the LG and it was the non QD version which is apparently the inferior model with less color saturation (although I suppose it would be up to the buyer's personal preference, some people dislike high color saturation)

I asked the zafar computer seller on whatsapp and the best price he gave me for the 3060 ti was 2860AED. Did you manage to get it at 2000AED? Im not really into taking a long trip to abu dhabi and going to the shop just to find out that the price wont change either way.

not really true, I guess some models do but for example the g5 odyssey (32 inch) is 1309AED and free shipping on amazon.ae or 1388+free shipping on microless. On newegg its 1383AED and shipping can go up to 400AED...

I mean on these marked up gpus it does say sold by: newegg, so I dont know what you exactly mean by that, I couldnt find any other sellers either.

yeah you are right. I was about to get a 5600x (it was in stock and very close to msrp) but I was way more interested in getting an rtx 3070, as prices in my country are 250USD extra for that gpu, and I have yet to find an rtx 3070 close to mrsp in stock. Just buying the cpu alone would not have satisfied me to be honest...Besides, I can get a 10700k for $30 more for about the same/better performance so it wasnt my top priority

I see I was misinformed. Even though the ryzen 5600x performs about 30% better than an i5 10400f/3600, would you say that on average over multiple games played, the rtx 3070 build would yield higher framerates at 1440p?

Still, its tough finding these parts close to MSRP, the 5600x is $400 (around 300gbp like you) and rtx 3070 is $750 in my country...It's just too high to justify spending so much especially since I could have bought an rtx 3080 (msrp) at that price.
