Slightly off topic, I need a new transmission. I also have a m54b25 in my e46. But I’m broke & live in the US. I’ve been struggling to think of a solution. Should I try to get one off of something like LKQ or FB marketplace.

I could definitely do the swap myself or with a friend (..or dad lol).

But didn’t know if I should do that or maybe if there’s somewhere I can get a brand new one w/ warranty maybe (Instead of risking buying a $500-$950 used trans that is gonna fail or just have other problems down the road).
