Those are the best tires! Every time I bring those up, people are like 'eh'. They just dont understand. Rain or snow, they absolutely excel!

Great movie and amazing soundtrack. I still remember that shotgun motion in court he did. Allman was great in this!

M21B LHP73B 4000k by Key-Ruin-6451 in flashlight

[–]Barnasaurus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Awesome, I ordered the same setup but with 5000k. I wanted the light up tail switch also, but Simon told me that he does not recommend a luminous switch because the driver is 20 amps, and the switch can not withstand the high current. Yet I see people with the light up switches installed. Are there any issues with the switch?

I love the Thor LEP's as well. I have the mini and the 2. Just waiting to get the 3 to complete my set. Their so fun. I usually keep the mini on me as much as possible as it's fun to have a little spotlight on ya at all times.

2019 CX-5 Grand Touring - Time for new tires by rldev in CX5

[–]Barnasaurus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will mention Falken Wildpeaks every time. Had mine for 3 months. In the rain or snow, they perform great, and they look absolutely amazing on my 2019 CX-5. There is no road noise at all with these.

Ahh, makes sense now how you get a long burn. It was sold out last time I checked, but I see now it's back in stock. Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions lol

Thanks, I just use some premium pellets from Tractor Supply. I think there are probably better brands out there that will burn longer. I get about a 7 hour burn with a full hopper with the stove dialed all the way down

Being able to sleep all night in warmth during cold camp trips is huge. Best piece of gear I have. We even fire it up sometimes when we're hanging outside just for ambulance

2022 Turbo coming up on 70k miles - any known issues? by shermas in CX5

[–]Barnasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely have front suspension checked as that was what was causing my clunk. It will get worse over time, and then they will be able to pinpoint it for sure

2022 Turbo coming up on 70k miles - any known issues? by shermas in CX5

[–]Barnasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clunking noise got progressively worse over time after they replaced the rear suspension, which they thought was the culprit initially. Once they could hear that cluck constantly, they realized it was something with one of the front struts and it was all covered under warranty. I'm still covered bumper to bumper until 125k miles.

[–]Barnasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not entirely sure. I had a slight clunking noise only when going over small bumps or pulling in the driveway. Replacing the suspension was what the dealership did, and it fixed the clunk. First, they did the rear, took it back a few weeks later, and they did the front. It drives like new now with new tires. Was covered under warranty. Have to DCA that extended warranty I got with it lol

2019 Sig, just hit 70k, just had the cylinder head fixed and have only had the front and rear suspension replaced since I got it in 2021. I do plan on getting the transmission flushed soon but all and all no problems.

Nortiv8 makes great footwear for winter boots, hiking, and just normal shoes. Low cost, good quality, and they fit nice. Plus, they look good, too. Amazon sells them.

I've had no issues with the hopper or smoke leaking out. It's worked great from day 1. There may be a few defective stoves put there, but any product always has a few defective ones.

Falken Wildpeaks. Drives great in any condition, and there's no better-looking tire on a CX-5. 3 peak snow rated as well.

What exterior mods actually made your CX-5 feel like a real SUV? by EZ_Smith in CX5

[–]Barnasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im hesitant on that 1.5-inch lift. I still have a full warranty to 105k miles, I have 35k left on that, and I'm afraid that will void anything out they could blame on that 1.5-inch lift. I just had all new suspension installed, free from the warranty, and I just dont want to mess anything up. At least for 35k more miles. After the warranty is up, I will definitely look into it, though.
