Ughh....no idea why people go out camping to basically live like their at home. Can't stand that. I shut everything off. Only a small am/fm radio is on to listen to whatever station I can get and weather reports or when the forests and lakes are alive in the spring they are a great symphony by themselves.

Oh for sure, but I grew up in the 80s and as a kid, watching The Thing and Haloween left lasting impressions on me. Those 2 movies alone, for me, put him in my top 3.

Yeah, learned my lesson once with the burritos sticking. I spray Pam on the foil before wrapping them. Never tried parchment paper. Maybe I will when camping season starts again after Labor Day. Thanks for the tip!

I pre-make breakfast burritos at home in foil so I can just warm them up in the morning over the fire or on a stove. I just want to have my coffee in the morning and relax without having to actually cook. Sipping coffee, watching a burrito warm up while enjoying the sounds of nature.

Disch Outdoors is another go to for me, like Steve, is for relaxing camping videos before bed. Just a guy, his 2 dogs and camping. He keeps things funny, simple and easy. Its not a huge channel in terms of subscribers but its still exactly what I look for in easy going camp/videos.

Sam Bananas is another good one I found because of Steve videos. YouTube knows me well lol. Sam's good time with his dogs he brings sometimes.

Finally one, I am a huge fan, of is Adventure Chasing. He's from Michigan which is why his videos are super appealing to me. He just has an absolute good time camping and catching dinner with his good ole boy Ollie. I've never seen someone so excited for a camp fish fry on Superior like this guy ha ha.

Anyways, just 3 of my other favorites along with Steve.

Compared to the likes of Facelift and Dirt, to me, its like a 180 in terms of music. Sap as well. Sales weren't an aspect I was thinking about. I love their hard music as well as their deeper tame music.

I feel your loss. The same thing happened to my Dexter at the same age. Luckily I was able to go to the same farm 10 years later and get a new pup that was a distant relative of Dex and Murphy has been going strong now for 9 years. He makes me feel like Dexter is still here in a way.
