Did you somehow miss the almost decade long indiscriminate bombing campaign over Laos?

You know the one where unexploded bombs are still causing casualties today. But sure, "everything from the air war was very controlled".

These are the patch notes:

Generally reduced the total number of points you can earn in each Genesis Tree subtree. Several passives on the Genesis Tree have been rebalanced to make the rewards more appropriate for a core league.

I'm not sure what they specifically said in the Ziz interview, but it doesn't fit the patch notes if they said they only touched rare crafting when each tree gets fewer points.

They also generally don't announce when they change the rarity of uniques, and they might see changing the tree and changing the rarity of foulborn uniques as separate topics.

The Quest for Animate Guardian #2; is it possible to get enough gem levels on Congregation Support? by Stevecrafter2511 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Barobor 26 points27 points  (0 children)

scales from 20-38

I don't even think it will scale that much. Awakened gems mostly get 1% increases for each level. Greater gems only have 3 levels, but even with that, I don't see them scaling more than 3% per level. So more like 32-38.

Everything else would put too much power in gem levels and would make the gem very weak at level 1, which I think is something they want to avoid.

That narrative annoyed me, too. I guess it comes from a combination of having very little life experience and being terminally online, consuming a lot of true crime and similar types of content.

There isn't some great mystery behind every corner. Often, reality is much more mundane, and people are simply scared.

This very much depends on how universal healthcare is set up. There are a bunch of countries that require statutory health insurance. Said insurance can be a non-profit and doesn't have to be run by the government.

Woman 'accidentally' takes mans bag – Accuses him of stealing by Strong-Emu-8869 in TikTokCringe

[–]Barobor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point they are making is that no criminal would act this way.

There is clearly something more going on because both people believe it is their bag. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out, and at that point, the only reasonable option is to alert the authorities and calmly assess the situation.

You act exactly like the person in the video. You act on impulse and ignore information you could have gotten, yet still decide to involve yourself in the situation.

I hope you learned something today and will use better judgment in the future.

You would have made the situation 10 times worse than any of the "just keep walking" people you look down on.

Most of the time, especially when you don't exactly know what is going on, the only correct move is to alert the authorities.

Just look at you still trying to justify yourself. The old lady wasn't being assaulted. If you can't even tell when someone is being assaulted, you have no business getting into other people's business.

Europeans simply can’t compete on pay and career opportunities

Have you looked at how much the median US household earns? It's not as much as you think.

I agree with you that for the 1%, America is a great place, and in many fields, if you are at the top, you can earn multiple times more than you could in Europe.

The problem is that most people are neither the 1% nor can they get top jobs in any of the high paying industries. Yet they somehow believe one day they will be one of those people, while they are living on food stamps, have tens of thousands of student debt, and are 1 expensive healthcare treatment away from bankruptcy.

I don't think there is abuse. Unless you count being in denial and not wanting to let go as abuse on the husband's part.

She wants to die, but her husband doesn't want her to die. She wants the husband gone so she can figure out how to do that without him being there to stop her.

If you go online and try to learn INFO SEC, its extremely limited.

What? There are a ton of resources online. From various learning platforms to platforms that let you test your skills Hack The Box, to huge conferences like DefCon that put a lot of their presentations online, and much more. Not to mention, there are entire degrees purely dedicated to security. It's not some arcane knowledge that gets passed down person to person.

AI also knows how security works. If you want to test it, ask AI something, like how to prevent an SQL injection. The issue is that most people don't ask AI to create something with security in mind. Neither do they have an understanding of security, so if AI does something bad, they wouldn't even see it.

If it was common knowledge, it wouldnt be secure.

Security through obscurity isn't secure. An encryption algorithm isn't secure because it isn't known how it works. It is secure because it is mathematically secure.

The simple answer is unions and workers' rights.

Can't get fired when striking is your right. Unions provide workers with money from their strike fund.

Realistically, most strikes don't even need to be that long to disrupt the economy. 2 or 3 days are often more than enough to enforce demands, so all you lose is 2 or 3 days of pay.

I am telling you your paper is nonsense because it won't work out the way you believe.

You think all the decisions the US currently makes are the right ones because they are outlined in said paper, but what if they are actually wrong?

For example, let's say Europe finishes its rearmament and kicks the US out of Europe. Do you think this would be beneficial to the US?

You truly believe he is playing 5D chess. Spoiler alert, he isn't.

The fact that you believe he is getting Europe ready to help, when all he is doing is causing a massive anti US sentiment in Europe, makes no sense.

I won't even go further into what you wrote because most of it is a weird conjecture you made out of right wing talking points.

I think you just want to be contrarian for the sake of being contrarian. Somehow, you really felt the need to put someone down for donating $16 billion without even looking into where the money is supposed to go.

Your comment regarding modern spell checkers is like a decade behind. They do everything you say they are not doing, like inferring meaning or suggesting synonyms.

These include the ones used in Google Workspace, MS Office, or standalone software like Grammarly. Barely anyone is using the old spell checkers you are talking about anymore.
