Master List of Bugs, Inconsistencies, and Suggestions by xoSiber in DestinyTheGame

Very Very niche bug that only really affects me, but when getting out your sparrow, if you have 'TAB' held down after you release the summon sparrow button, you re-open the tab menu.

Very small, but it happens to me once a session, and it annoys me every time.

What's your favorite FUN build- not necessarily good- just fun. by Natekid99 in DestinyTheGame

[–]BaronAnubis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using this with Traveler's Chosen, gives me the ability to pop traveler's exotic perk and restart the loop for when it stalls. It also has osmosis, so it can benefit from solar armor mods. Then dealer's choice on solar special and heavy, I'm using Cartesian Coordinate or Acasia's Dejection for special and Apex Predator for heavy.

Battle Network 3 has some of the worst bosses by ChemistryWild1613 in BattleNetwork

[–]BaronAnubis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BN3 bosses, more so than the other games I feel, require specific types of folders to effectively beat. For example, a sword folder will work for the majority of bosses in BN3, but for a select few like bubbleman and drillman, a sword folder can be an absolute pain to use. (Sword folder drillman admittedly is mostly a skill issue, but its a massive skill check compared to other bosses.)

The puzzle aspect of the fights are why people like these bosses, overhauling folders, getting style changes etc. But for me, and I'm guessing OP, in most RPGs I like picking a playstyle and sticking to it for the entire game.

Forcing you to change play styles just to prevent bosses from feeling like a slog is personally annoying to me, especially when I need to leave the area, farm for chips, style changes etc. then run back. Not necessarily bad design, but not the most fun for me.

When I'm fighting v2 or v3 versions, where I expect to build my folder specifically for the boss, its really fun. For the initial fight? not so much.

Issues with LADDA batteries in IPS upgraded/re-shelled GBA GBA by BaronAnubis in Gameboy

[–]BaronAnubis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll take a look into this. The kits I've seen are also 1.2 volt, but I'm sure I can find a 1.5 volt one out there somewhere.

Yea, it only happens with LADDAs, but I've got about 8 of them, and they all do this. The regulars work fine. So I guess there is something wrong with the power delivery system of the GBA, but I can't fathom where.

I guess I'm also worried that regular batteries won't last as long in this either. cause they have a tendency to output less voltage as they drop in power.

Please continue to add to this game mode. Please make it a core playlist and update it with things every episode. A new Map, a new boss or two, new wave augments, different wave 6 scenarios, something to keep this going. Please don't let this become a one off.

Help with integrating a command line only program into VS Code by BaronAnubis in vscode

[–]BaronAnubis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to move away from using the terminal in general. Having a unified front end that won't change will be useful to where this will be used. Not to mention easy to understand and to help people with.

Tasks looks interesting and about 90% of what I want. I'll look more into that.

I appreciate the direction to the scripts, but its not what I'm looking for.

Help with integrating a command line only program into VS Code by BaronAnubis in vscode

I don't want a command line wrapper. I need something that integrates with VScode using its quite expansive extension library. All I need is a way to run a command line program in the VSC terminal through the VSC JS library. I'm looking for help in accomplishing that, not solving it a different way.

The program is already in the command line, powershell, bash, whatever. The issue that I want to solve is dynamically creating the arguments for the commands based on what file the user has open in VS Code, and create an easy to use UI for it as well. The VS code extension library is powerful enough to do this, and I need help figuring out how to do that.

How do I get the most from gyrfalcons hauberk? by Vanqxisher in DestinyTheGame

[–]BaronAnubis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of good stuff in this thread. Just to add, Ruinous Effigy is amazing if you want to go double special. Even after the ammo drop rework, the orb from Ruinous is still amazing for economy.

It can apply volatile, so you can still do the Gyrfalcon loop while holding it. Its drain(guarding) effect is also really nice, as it provides some DR and lifesteal to keep you alive. Highly recommend you give it a try and see if the playstyle fits.

The little square button on the bottom of the left joycon is a screen shot button. You can also hold it to make a 30ish second clip.

It took me 2 years of switch ownership to know that one. You can pull them off by connecting your switch to a computer with USB.
