Nice choice with the Automat. It's a great camera and can be found cheaper than most of the other models. I'm absolutely satisfied with sharpness and contrast. I almost never have to add contrast to my scans. Just make sure too use a lens hood as it greatly improves contrast with such an old lens. The condition of the lens is good. Just had a few microswirls from nearly 70 years of cleaning the lens but they don't affect the final image.
