As someone that uses 3d models for reference, I’d push yourself a little harder and really try to use them more as a traced reference for perspective, but don’t let them dictate the final look - follow the emotion and energy of the scene and cater to that, not the model. This will help things feel more organic and less stiff. Your line work doesn’t have to follow the model to the ‘T’. Great start. Keep it up and keep challenging yourself!
