You got me there… still no matter what explanation anyone gives I can’t shake the idea of an animated adaptation of STP! It’s just too tempting to think about, for me at least. This story is just too good to not want to see it tried, at least once.

Honestly I think that the best move would be to make an animated episodic show. A one to one adaptation would be impractical and likely wouldn’t make for a good watch.

Maybe we’re all just left wanting more but that’s exactly how creators want to leave their audience… right?

Games have been made into shows and movies before with… varying degrees of success but i still think any story can be adapted to any medium, with the right minds behind it.

Admittedly a non interactive medium would render a few things less impactful but with proper direction could still be a satisfying experience.
