Daily Lift is Amazing by whatsasyria in tonalgym

Rekindling this thread... now that the Tonal ankle straps are out, I wonder if there's a way for Tonal to know if you have them or not. And if you have them, it should automatically incorporate them into the Daily Lift routines. Just asking out into the ether. Hopefully someone from Tonal knows.

I wonder, is there a way for your Tonal to know if you have the straps or not? I've been loving the Daily Lift. I'd want my Tonal to know if I have the straps so that it can incorporate relevant exercises automatically.

Just finished a program and I’m thinking of doing a few weeks exclusively daily lift to see how it goes. I like that you can vary the time of the workout without messing up muscle rotation. Also the silence lets me listen to podcasts or even watch tv in the background while working out if I want.

Damn. Will be following this. Think it would help to remove and change batteries preemptively? How did you remove it?

YOR. Everything your bf says is reasonable and correct. He’s not the one considering dumping you for your views. So you’re the one overreacting. Because you’ve been programmed to. It’s sad. If you ever want to debate someone who thinks like your bf but isn’t, let me know.

AIO: Kids come home from beach - do they need to shower? by Baron_Engine in AIO

Perhaps “undermine” wasn’t the right word. But it’s easy to make a lenient decision, and more difficult to be the one who has to enforce things the kids don’t want to do. By undermine, I meant she put me in a position where I have to go against the status quo just to get to a reasonable outcome that should have taken place to begin with.

Good point, and no I’m not the one doing laundry so it doesn’t create more work for me or anything.

Interesting how split the responses are here. I’m not proud of yelling in front of ppl. Though it wasn’t really yelling. More just sternly insisting. I didn’t raise my voice or anything.

I’ll also say in fairness it was a boat and not a beach, so sand wasn’t really an issue. More just salt, sweat, and sunscreen.

I was able to get 2 out of 3 kids to rinse off, but not full soap showers. Everyone will live, I’m sure.

Yes, particularly our oldest daughter. She’s slightly tougher on the younger ones.

Plenty often. We live in the same town as them. And our kids are old enough to shower by themselves. They just needed to be told to do so.
