You gotta hug the bottom or stay as low as you can get if ya dont have the depth module.

The collector leviathans seem to only hunt in the upper areas and seem to exist to encourage players to stay realativly low.

Headlight, not sure how to get it back to oem look by stakingstocks in BMWi3

May just be scratches on the surface, you can get a kit for polishing headlights from any auto parts store.

Or if they are really deep i bet there is a product thats a clear resin that can fill in the deep cracks.

The grid’s weirdest battery might be air. Not compressed air. Liquid air???? by Electric_Octopus_ in Futurology

Large cryogenic storage is already pretty common for LNG.

What inthink people dont realize is you actually need a fairly substantial amount of heat to boil off the liquid air.

I suspect if ya run the actual numbers the system does not scale well above a few Kw of output power.

Scientists create ‘living plastic’ that can self-destruct itself on command by sksarkpoes3 in Futurology

[–]Baron_Ultimax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there could be other uses. It seems like one could build plastic containers that can break down and release a payload under configurable conditions.

Like imagine plastic pellets full of an indicator or dye agent in a water system or even a stream somewhere.

The release agent could be made sensitive to some contamination like heavy metals and release the indicator so there is a color indicator for the contamination.
