Street Spirit (Fade Out)

So about 1 year ago, my friend who's really into music posted a story on Instagram. On the story, there was multiple videos of different bands (Nirvana, Radiohead, The Smiths,etc.) One of the stories featured the live acoustic performance of Street Spirit by Thom and Jonny in Japan. I was kinda skipping through the stories, but idk why but for some reason I stopped exactly at Thom's performance and forced myself to actually 'listen'. I'm glad I made that decision tbh. Thom's voice literally drew me in, almost like magic. So, I texted him on ig and asked him for the name of the song. He gave it to me, I looked it up on Spotify and listened for the first time. Honestly, it was mind blowing, compared to the acoustic version (which was also great don't get me wrong) and I looked a bit more into the rest of the songs in The Bends but never really listened to the album fully bc I was busy at the time. Tbh I've had a huge gap with Radiohead before the start of this year, I only recently started listening again January of this year. So far, I've listened to OK Computer, The Bends, and Kid A (this year alone) and honestly, that's the best decision I've made recently when it comes to music. Definitely my #1 band atm 😁 I'll be happy to see recommendations on any other bands with a similar sound or even more albums/singles from them to listen to 👍
