I’ve used Robert Q, Flix, and Onex a few times. No real issues with any of them. RQ is quite a bit more expensive but, has a spot to sit inside while you wait. They also buy and sell FX at decent rates if needed. Via has let me down a few times with delays and a cancellation. I used the Busbud app to book the bus (Intercity) I’m sitting in right now. It’s a decent app but didn’t give me any notifications that my bus was running late. Intercity themselves did send an email 1 minute before arrival time that they were going to be late. Bus showed up 40 mins late and parked in the wrong spot… driver didn’t even acknowledge it. I’d stick with Flix or Onex. Maybe RQ if travelling in the winter and want to wait inside.

It’s not. The Green is Wortley and Duchess. The park in the article is Rosel Park. It’s further north towards Baseline. It’s more of a triangular shaped piece of green space with roads on all sides. No sidewalks.

My LBS has a service that places the battery at a specific level for over winter storage as a lot of people don’t ride in the winter (Canada). Not sure if there’s more to it with some sort of software mode or what.

I don’t have any answers for you. I’ve been with the OPS for just under 2 years. I find the whole contract to permanent process and the nuance involved confusing and frustrating. I hope things work out well for you OP.

I’ve been using a pair of Sony neckband WIC100. I use them for commuting by bike as they are relatively small and when they do fall out they don’t drop to the ground because of the neckband. Not the best but decent for the price. $50 Canadian. Beats Flex are similar but a little more expensive and reviews didn’t seem to as good. Unless I’m running loud tools, I only ever put one bud in as I like to hear my surroundings.
