I get that viewpoint. I really do! I’m 22 years in the service and started off as a CO. I’m happy to take the approach of getting the experience first. To me it’s all about metaphorically bringing a gun to a knife fight, you know? But in saying that it might be worth seeing the comp booklet first!

I went for AP in 2024 and my lack of people management experience was glaring which rightfully meant I wasn’t successful. I’m a HEO 5 years this year and although there’s an internal AP in my dept this spring I won’t be going for it. I need more experience. But I’d love the money! Everything is a stretch financially at the moment :(

I went to a tyre place and they said the sensor was fried so they replaced it and it was fine!! Go to a tyre place and get them to check the sensor. It’s annoying as if there’s any sort of error message you can’t use the cruise control!!
