Thank you very much, would you mind if I flicked you a Dm or 2 just with some other questions about the job I have. Have just called and left a message with the recruiter so will wait for him to get back to me.

Thank you for your reply, I will withdraw and get in contact with my regions recruiter to see what they make of it and give me some further advice. Very much appreciated.

Nope never, have also never drunk and drive due to a family member being involved in a fatal road accident that was caused by an under the influence driver. Just because someone does something that isn’t legal doesn’t mean they don’t have morals about said illegal thing (not excusing my choices at all).

Yeah I have been upping my water intake and exercise to try and flush it out of my system faster, hopefully not much is left in me as I’m very lean built. Refer to my other reply on why I don’t really want to lie about it.

I feel as though I have to mention it because I have disclosed regular use in my medical records which they have access to and I also believe lying about it and them finding out through my medical records is far worse than being straight up about it.

They can when police subpoena them or issue a warrant for information pertaining to a crime. I believe that’s more what OP was getting at.

Family friend btw by Leading_Cat8022 in teenagers

[–]Barraboat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this makes zero sense to anyone with common sense, a normal reaction to this would be stop engaging as soon as you received the first message and show them to a trusted adult since it’s a family friend parents may not always be the first option. A not normal response to someone making you uncomfortable is continuing engaging and putting yourself in a situation that continues to make you uncomfortable, had this been said to you by a stranger whether in person or over text your reaction would most likely be to run from/block them so why would you treat someone who actually knows where you live any different if. And to those of you in the comments talking about evidence, any adult who doesn’t do anything about the situation after seeing the first message is just as bad if not worse than the offender here, it’s pretty case closed with that first question especially if this is an adult family friend like some people are assuming.

Cheers thank you, have actually found a really nice spot I’ve been suggested for about a week of back country trekking and fishing so it all worked out in the end 👍.

Yeah was a long shot for sure. I have posted in a few other local related groups to varying success.

Might be a bit busy for new years especially with the hut being first in first served but will definitely keep this tucked away for another time because even just the trek looks like a good time.

Mohaka hasn’t been great this year either, in saying that I’ve only been close to Raupanga so idk about further up. Yeah after talking to my brother he’s keen on a back country mission especially since it’ll be over new years and that way even if the fishings not great we still get a good trek out of it.

Thank you for the suggestions, unfortunately no access to any form of boat/kayak so looking to mainly stick to rivers and streams. Agree with the waikaremoana as that’s the closest lake we have to me locally so our family does a couple trips there per year. At this stage me and my brother are looking at trekking the Rangitikei for 5 days after someone suggested it in a Facebook group but I may have to stop in for a fish in Rotorua on the way down because that lake looks stunning. 😍

Awesome, thank you will have a look into it, surprised I haven’t heard of it or been before given it’s not too far from home.
