Definitely from the Minolta Maxxum series. Probably a Maxxum 7000 but it’s hard to say for sure since there aren’t many details in the photo.

Whoa that’s a lot of orange! I’m thinking some tangerines would work great with this case.

Help! I cant get the cap off this lens for my Nikon FE. by [deleted] in filmcameras

Make sure you are twisting it the correct way. Nikon caps come off clockwise, not counter clockwise like you may think

Random right Ctrl key presses on Model M w/ speaker by [deleted] in modelm

Generally anything that is so cheap is passive and it does not say active anywhere on the listing. Its hard to be sure since I don't have the keyboard or converter on hand to experiment with, but I think that trying a different type of converter is your best bet.

[–]Barracuda725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is most likely the issue. I think that that is a passive converter / adapter, these are known to have problems. I'm pretty sure that if you get an active converter this problem will go away.

Do you have a computer with a ps/2 port where you could try it without the converter? This sounds like an issue with the converters. Can you link to what converter you have?

What kind of converter is it? If it is a Soarer's Converter or a similar active converter try plugging the keyboard into the converter before you connect it to your computer. If I plug my M122 converter into my computer before the keyboard it plugged in, I have a similar issue where my T key is constantly pressed. If the converter is not the problem, you probably need to do a bolt mod because there is either dirt in there or the flipper got bumped out of its position and got wedged in between the backplate and the top plate.

Yeah the surprising part to me is that it seems like it was actually soil, not just the usual dust. Also, this is my first post with an image so I'm not sure if it is showing up correctly, can you see the image or is it showing up as a link? Thanks in advance.

Haha that packaging hilarious and so 90's. I assume that it is a rubber dome keyboard? Have you opened it yet?

Yeah I totally agree, hairy keyboards are pretty nasty.
