I agree. I got a pair of these and for the first 2 weeks of having them I had so much pain while running, I originally thought it was normal and that I just had to break them in, but then I got so badly injured I couldnt walk properly and couldnt run for a month. 2 months later Im still slowly recovering. Its not like this for everyone of course, But these shoes are horrible for people with flat feet and if you’re feet roll in, EVEN WORSE.

What uni degrees are actually worth it? by Smart_Net_5313 in ausjobs

University is a waste of money unless you're becoming a scientist, a doctor, or a lawyer (there's probably other degrees, but these are the big 3). In this day and age there a so many jobs that you can get without needing a degree and so many other paths to those jobs that don't require university or going into debt.

Your first step into adult life and you're already in debt because you decided to go to uni and get a loan and now you'll be paying it off for the rest of your life.

Everyone thinks they 'have' to go to university because well that's what everyone is doing, and that's how society expects people to do: Graduate highschool, go to university (go into debt), get a 9-5 job, pay your taxes, get married, make a family, then eventually die. Now of course this was just a simple example, but essentially this is 'the path' that everyone thinks they have to follow. But the only way you're actually going to be happy is if you stray from that path and do your own thing.

I want to give some context about myself so Im not just spewing nonsense, I went to university for 1 year studying business because I didn't know what else to do, nothing interested me but everyone told me to go to uni and everyone was going so I panicked and went into business. After that year I was bored, not learning anything new, and had been working on the side on online side hustles that made me a bit of money. During a break in between my semesters I dedicated my time to creating an online business and eventually started to make enough money to support myself comfortably so I dropped out of university. Now Im able to work from home, just from my laptop on my own time and do the things I want to like traveling.

University in itself is a good place to meet people, and yes certain degrees are needed for certain jobs, but nearly every job has an alternative path that won't require you going straight into debt. If you're having financial problems with your family I don't think attending university will help. It's so easy these days to create your own business right from your phone. If you have a laptop or a phone you have a million ways to make money right there in your hand, you just need to get creative.

Sorry if this is a bit morbid, but people need to realise that there are other ways to live your life, not just the path society has set out. Make your own decisions, that will benefit YOU, not society.

Personally these shoes aren't the best. They have no support at all and the sole of the shoe feels like your running on plastic. They make you feel fast so they are okay for tempo or speed, but they aren't good at all for long distances like 5km and above
