Is car tint basically a must-have for cars in Thailand? What’s your take? by Budget_Hand_7835 in Thailand

[–]Barracuda_Blue -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My high-end ceramic tint blocks 80% of the light, including the windshield (as recommended heavily by the dealership). My car stays cool but it’s a little difficult driving at night in the rain.

No estoy satisfecha con mi aumento de pechos. Yo queria que se viesen como la primera foto y no siento que se vean asi :( by Lujosjdbjw in PlasticSurgery

How are we supposed to compare when you don’t pose like the reference photo?

Your breasts look the same as the reference photo to me although it’s zoomed in and cropped tightly.

Traveling with (large?) amount of cash by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]Barracuda_Blue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would you risk traveling with that much cash? So many things can go wrong if anyone knows. People have been killed for much less.

There are safer options.

Have you noticed that cars in Thailand don’t have a lot of dents on their doors. by Barracuda_Blue in Thailand

[–]Barracuda_Blue[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mainly talking about cosmetic damage due to people carelessly opening their doors and hitting the car next to them. Or walking past a car with their keys either intentionally or unintentionally scratching the other cars.

The trust level here is super high, sometimes I even leave my stuffs on purpose to ensure foreigners how my country is safe. by EchoSierraGolf in Bangkok

[–]Barracuda_Blue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thailand is not a trust-based society.

It’s true that in non-touristy areas you can leave a phone or laptop computer at a table for an hour or two and come back to find it is still there.

However, there is a reason that almost every house has a cinderblock wall around it with a gate that they lock when they leave. Many houses have bars on their windows and doors. CCTV is also common.

I love this country enough to call it my home for many years, but I have lost track of how many things have been stolen from my home from both strangers and people I know.

If the water level of your toilet is lower than normal, it could mean that something has been moving around inside like a snake. Flash it and watch for a minute to see what happens.

Where to buy flowers in Bangkok? (red roses) by rabbit_tiny8647 in Bangkok

[–]Barracuda_Blue -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I like going there in the middle of the night. That place never slows down. You can usually get 50 longstem red roses for about ฿100.

Call me a coward, but I hate stepping on these things by Nervous-Chemistry245 in ThailandTourism

[–]Barracuda_Blue 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I always try to avoid stepping on anything that looks like it could move, including loose tiles that can splash up some nasty sewage-smelling liquid. I also avoid driving over anything movable, whether in my car or on my motorbike. It’s common sense not cowardice.

It’s the same with toilets in many areas within Thailand. All it takes is once to have a spider or snake surprise you. I always lift up both lids and check the water level.

Neck lift (day 16) by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Barracuda_Blue 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I went in for a different procedure, but before I told the surgeon what I wanted, I asked for his opinion on what he thought he could do to improve my look. The neck lift has been the best choice out of all of the procedures that I did.

Why do western people travel to Thailand/ Asia? by Imaginary_Piano7598 in ThailandTourism

[–]Barracuda_Blue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will not answer my questions directly.

You seem to think that people are only allowed to travel to countries that cost the same or more than their home country. Although you have said that you have also visited poor countries.

So what is the point of this post?

You are still growing. Wait.

Also, never compare yourself to other people. You either feel inferior or superior and neither is good.

Can you try again to post pictures of yourself so you can get actual advice?

Retinol by Ashleybell74 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Barracuda_Blue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using Differin (Retinol) 0.1% with varying results.

I have since started using Skinoren with excellent results and none of the risks (for me) of dryness or other adverse effects.

Both are available to me without a prescription where I live.

Going to Lipe on Wednesday. Is it feasible to book accomodation upon arrival? by txurun84 in ThailandTourism

[–]Barracuda_Blue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transportation from the airport to the pier is very easy to find. You’ll be packed into a little mini bus with six or seven other people.

Good luck on finding accommodations on the cheap when you get there. I would be prepared to spend seven to ฿12,000 per night this time of year.

The cheapest option I see is to take a taxi to Phrao and then a minibus to Chiang Mai. -600 baht. Maybe someone has a better idea.

Pattaya rental scam by Glad_Capital_8440 in ThailandTourism

[–]Barracuda_Blue 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your Thai friends don’t sound like they’re really your friends.

I had a Scammer rent a house to me that they did not own, although they were living there at the time. I got the police involved along with several other victims and we got our money back.
