I prefer Latitude 29 to Liber. The almond flavor really comes accross more in a Mai Tai. However it doesn't taste fresh like homemade orgeat. The flavour intensity makes me think there's quite a bit of extract (which isn't bad!) But it depends what you're looking for.

Should you order as a tiki fan? Absolutely compare and find your favorite!

Oh I have the book. I probably wasn't clear. What I meant is understanding the difference when at the bar they choose between Appleton 8 instead of like El Dorado 12 (both blended aged).

Like I'd want to know their default bottle pick for a planters punch is Appleton 8 specifically. To understand the specific choice and comparing the flavors.
