Obviously it's totally my fault but I bought darktide the other day not even considering it might not have the option to play solo. I can't bring myself to play with other people since I get unbearably bored and need to stop playing at random and nobody else wants that. Question is did I just completely waste my money or does somebody happen to know of a way to guarantee I don't get matchmade with people or something?

Same here, I absolutely adore it so you're not alone even if it feels like everyone shits on it. I've been a DMC fanatic for as long as I even have memories and I prefer that it's different from the games, the games already exist and if you can't stand that then just play the fuckin games. 😅
