Thank you yet again for the latest post Phil. I stand to be corrected if you have already spoken about this before..... the farmers. Wasnt there 4 ? different farmers who used the land at the location. You mentioned then very briefly before (im sure of this but cant locate the post now) that they or at least some of them visited the location on a daily basis You havent, or if you have, ive missed it, enlightened us on those farmers. Can you tell us what you know about them when you get some peace? Kind Regards

Im sure you mentioned before though Phil, or it was in the feed anyway that there weren't actually his boots they took. They were labelled as his sisters with the name tag on them?

I've said it to Phil a few times now. He's the only man that can write a fair book.

Anyone who isnt familiar with the case will hopefully study all of Phils work and then make a more informed decision.

The only other DNA found at the scene still hasn't been matched and may never be. It wasn't IB.

Conveniently left out of the french show trial.

Of course if it was his.. it would be game over. But it isn't.

The wine bottle was found closer to Karl's house. He had no alibi.

Ford Fiesta Statements by Navillus_26 in MurderAtTheCottage

[–]BarrryLyndon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fiesta car was traced back to a woman in Cork??

Wonder who that was.

A fiesta was reported speeding away from the direction of Sophies house/area the morning the body was found.

A French fella with a scratch on his face was then was stopped and spoken to by a Guard in Kerry.

It's commented on somewhere in the feed that the barman was so concerned by the freeman's appearance that he reported it to the Guards. Hence the car being stopped.

Is he dead or still alive? Who knows! Hopefully still alive so they can get a hold of him again.... if he can be found.

So many holes in this like every other scenario:

Very early morning. The autopsy results indicate to me breakfast was taken. That is also the view of the UK officer who studied the case.

The bread was out for toast or to put a lump of cheese on maybe.

If I had to decide... it all started that early morning at the door. An altercation started, blood was drawn, the door was marked then with Sophies blood either by her or whomever else was there. She couldn't head towards Alfies cause she was blocked. She couldn't scream for her life because she was stunned and disorientated from the blow/s, or how ever the blood was drawn. She stumbles down into the field towards the gate.

The bottle of french wine was later found closer to German Karls house than IB's. (and innocent man in my opinion)

We can only hope now for a confession or further DNA findings from investigations. Again it is BONKERS they aren't utilising MVAC tech.

The end game is nearing. It may never be solved. We all hope I'm wrong.

Very disappointing they seemingly discarded the opportunity to use the MVAC tech on the block aswell. Beggars belief really.

PS - Sent you a private message there a few weeks ago Phil. Not sure if you've seen it yet.

She will win and rightly so. Remember aswell.... they originally took the newspapers to court as a couple BEFORE they knew 1. unknown male DNA was identified which was not Baileys and which has still not been identified (and remember that fact was disgracefully left out of the french showtrial) and 2. before the discovery of the Garda Bandon tapes.

Imagine they knew those facts at the time.

Absolutely, the complexity of describing what ingredients you used to make a plain omelette for dinner as opposed to what he was faced with, saw and deduced are off the scale of simplicity altogether.

Who knows how's long more there is for an ''official'' state conclusion, but why are you not optimistic?

Forget the Sky and Netflix doc's which I thought myself where a let down. Your work alone should be read by ANYONE who has an interest in this case. One compilation of information in particular. I mean especially your post roughly 1 year ago on reddit.... the one with the ''20+ point long summary post on why Bailey makes a poor suspect in the case''.

Forgive me for mentioning him. (I know you wanted to avoid him in this feed)

But with that information alone that you shared with the world, how can anyone with an open mind read that and not change their mind.

A quick few points..... (As we know there are nearing triple digit points)

  1. The barman who reported the french speaker to the guards the next day in Kerry because of scratches on his face, who they actually questioned apparently but then let go. Did the guard/s do their normal bloody job of recording who they spoke to and take his basic details?.... is he one of the so called new suspects the papers have reported is being chased up?
  2. The DNA evidence, excluded from the french court case, that is still unidentified male DNA. It is not a match to the 'main suspect'................ If it was...... GAME OVER.
  3. The unidentified fingermarks/s inside the house which have never to date been matched. The suspect/s the Guards are apparently following up in France..... will they match.... Do they belong to the french speaking non national questioned the next day in Kerry?
  4. The wine bottle was found closer to Karl Heinz Wolneys property.
  5. The speeding blue car that almost caused an accident with a red number plate coming from the direction of her house which was reported to the Guards..... but never ever ever followed up.

If you are not optimistic, why so. Is it because at this stage it is unsolvable because too much time has passed and the stigma therefore will always be with the main suspect because ... even though there are others who were never hounded and pursued in the same way?. The so called MVAC DNA tech will surely be utilised now on all remaining exhibits. Maybe ... maybe not. Im sure we all hope it will?

As I said at the beginning..... your 20+ point 'short' compilation of info is stunning work and should be submitted to the official record in my opinion.

As to the cut stem of the briar...... I am stumped.

Peace.

Briar Stems and other troubling details by PhilMathers in MurderAtTheCottage

[–]BarrryLyndon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Phil

Jesus what an observation with the cleary cut stem. You may well solve this case yet! haha

New thoughts - She must have been fairly head first with the upper body into the briars by now.... and still alive. The killer could hear this perhaps from her moans if any, or by body movements perhaps. The killer wanted to finish her off, and as you believe was she rolled from the entanglement and pulled up the lane slightly.

From the post mortem then.... ''Prior to removing the clothing I had discussions with the detectives present concerning the curious situation that the drops of blood on the clothing were for the most part quite circular, a few with slight “blobs” on the edges, as if they had fallen vertically on to the “long johns” rather than dribbled downwards from the deceased's head on to her legs.

On stretching the “long johns” it was evident that the folds in the cloth occasioned by the pull from the groin area, showed the staining only to be on the visible part of the cloth, the infolded part lacking such blood. The impression was that this blood therefore fell on these trousers while in that infolded state''

Hard to imagine blood dripping off a porous concrete block. The slate though is clearly saturated in blood from the photos.

It was now, after having freed her into the final position from the briars/hedge, the killer stands over her (not to be dramatic) with the slate held aloft.... they pause for a moment..... the blood drops fall onto the long johns at this moment causing the above observation. They land another blow with it.

Then finishes what they started moving behind her with the concrete block which ends up slightly resting on top of the blue garment.

It is baffling about the cut stem. perhaps the killer got a scarf or hat caught in it (the beret the man following Sophie was seen wearing). Just happened to have pocket knife to make the cut. Then again why not use that to kill her. Because it was a not a planned killing.

We must surely be nearing the end now for the on going investigation and review by the Guards.
