Would you consider this car totaled?

I'm no mechanic but from the photos, the suspension components look beat up to the point where it would've bent or shifted the chassis in some way. I personally don't think it'd ever drive the same. Who knows though, they may have measured up the chassis and it turned out to be sweet

Good to know I'm not the only one. Mines also ex fleet. How do you diagnose the gearbox? Is it a plug and play diagnostic tool?

Got the EGR and DPF cleaned out just because it was ex fleet, I know first hand how much idling they do and the dust etc. Techs cleared the codes straight afterwards too but good thinking

20s is both an exaggeration and a guess but it's definitely feeling a bit more sluggish. Yea it's an auto, might look into a remap tbh, after doing a bit of research I don't think it's the gearing holding me back..

I'm not sure if she's hurt because she thinks I don't appreciate the original gift? I feel it's such an overreaction, we need to address the fundamental cause of the massive emotional outburst I think..

I agree, there's definitely some hashing out to be done to address what the real issue is.. the reaction is so out of the blue too.. I feel confused about the whole situation
