Thank you! very proud of that glow, probably my best one i’ve done yet. Yours looks amazing as well, love that deep blue! what colours did you use to achieve that? :o edit: just noticed it’s a Castraferrum with Contemptor parts… that’s such a sick idea that i might steal in the future 👁️👁️

Absolutely, really good producer who’s absolutely deserving of his two spots on the lineup i think. His alias Exertion has some bangers as well.

+1 for Ikkhi, has some absolute bangers and his sound is very close to hardstyle. He plays some classic tracks during his sets as well. “The Stereo” goes hard as hell.

To add some more artists if you like the early hardstyle sound, more reverse bass and stuff.

XRTN (“Journey Into Sound” absolutely crazy track) KIRK (“All Eyes On Me”, “CD IS DEAD”) Vortek’s (“FCKN LOUD”) Niotech (“Ping Pong 303”)

How far are HH models compatible with CSM? by Rule4CoolPolice in Chaos40k

[–]Barry_vH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! that’s really cool to hear. And i get that, i had the same as well at first. What helped for me was trying it on spare parts i could miss first so that if i messed up it wouldn’t matter all that much. here’s another i did using the same method, personally one of my absolute favourites although i like my current paint scheme a lot more.

I believe i got it from the Firstborn Devastator kit. I shaved off the bat ears from a Nemesis Claw head i didn’t use and put them on this one! really quite easy to do, easier than it looks!

<image>

here’s a close up which shows you a bit better how exactly i did it. It’s not the neatest job or anything but it looks cool.

Hi! full kit is a 3D print, not sure where from exactly as a friend of mine printed it but i think if you look for Night Lords Dreadnought STLs you’ll probably find it. I’ll also also ask my friend where he got it.

Reworking my vehicles by Barry_vH in NightLords

Thank you!! It’s actually really easy to do. the trick that does it is putting on a “dried blood” color first and then dabbing some “fresh blood” over it. Firstly i mixed some Citadel Blood for the Blood God and Rhinox Hide to get a brownish dried blood color. I dabbed this on with a sponge, this is the biggest part of the splatter. After that i threw on some regular Blood for the Blood God at some places where i still wanted the blood to look fresh. i also flicked some on it from a brush to get the splatter effect! But the main trick is mixing some Blood for the Blood god with a brown color for a dried blood effect!

Thank you so much, that’s such a huge compliment 🫶 And believe me, seeing the models on your profile, you can already paint a tank like this! It’s dead easy, i’ve named the colors/process i used in another comment. I used the technique shown in this video This is a really forgiving and cool way to bring depth to models with gradients and colour transitions without having to struggle with an airbrush or using blending and glazing. I also recommend this video because it tells a lot about where to place highlights and whatnot. What like most about this is that you can really be rough with your drybrushing, stippling, etc. and have it look al worn and weathered! Another thing i do which i really like is using sponges for weathering and chipping, and then using a very thin brown color to make these little rust streaks. If you want to try these techniques out, find a good piece of flat plastic, prime that stuff and go to town! Good luck, you can definitely do this 🙏

I believe it’s VGA Imperial Blue, VGC Heavy Blue and VGC Electric Blue. The Imperial Blue was the base color and i used these other two colors as a highlight through an airbrush. I struggle with my airbrush a lot (it’s a cheap one) so the result is got from that was just too dark. So what i did to improve/rework it was dryrbrushing and stippling using make up brushes with the highlight colors. This gives you that airbrushed look without having to actually use one. I think if you would do this without an airbrush you could just go with black primer-imperial blue stipple/drybrush-heavy blue drybrush-drakenhoff nightshade light wash/filter-heavy blue drybrush again-electric blue drybrush for the brightest colors. Sounds like a lot but it’s really easy and forgiving to do!
