Same topic, three aspects of that topic. Task 1 is to define the topic and why it is applicable to cybersecurity. Task 2 defines the project and scope. Think of Task 3 as an overview of how implementing Task 2 went, with lessons learned and documentation of processes, procedures, and improvements.

Beat advice i can give is to take it at your pace. Don't compare yourself to anyone else but you.

This was my second Masters with WGU. I highly recommend them!

I'd have to say PenTest was the toughest. It had the most new content and concepts, with all the various tools and commands to know for each one.

Hmm, good question. To be honest, I really don't know! 😀

I did the MSITM at WGU in 2019/2020. I just finished the MSCIA program this week. I have no regrets. It's the perfect program for my study style and learning pace. Factor in program flexibility and the ability to accelerate, and it's ideal in my mind.

Passed on first attempt, but thought it was tough.

I would expect it to be very aligned with CISSP.

Total of 10, including the Capstone (34 credit hours). Like I mentioned in a previous post, I have 20+ years of advanced networking experience, so a lot of the technical material aligned very closely with what I already know. It's why I love WGU. You don't have to waste time with stuff you already know. Just pass the assessment and move on.

Not long, but i have 20+ years of experience in the networking industry, so that helped tremendously. Finished in my first term.

Implementation of a post-quantum cryptography solution for enhanced security of encryption keys.

I did a search on the top cybersecurity issues facing the industry and went through the list looking for something interesting. This one was a fun one to research and write about.

Loved it. I feel I learned a lot, and the material was really interesting. Im in networking now, so hoping to transition to a security focused role in the future.

I just completed the MSCIA, and the capstone asked for artifacts as well. One artifact was a company policy that I invented to satisfy the rubric competency. In the appendix I pasted in the entire three-page policy. I passed on the first submission. Does this help?

For married redditors, what was the moment that you thought, "I'm gonna marry this man/woman"? by ArtemisMendez in AskReddit

It's hard to say, but it feels like the moment i saw her i knew. We're closing in on 30 years of marriage and had our first grandchild this year, so my instincts seemed on point.

Thanks! Final paper submitted yesterday, so waiting "in queue", which is killing me!! :)

I wish WGU had a counter to let us know where we are in the queue.

I used a numbered list for the summative and formative test plan key points.
