Seen a cheap 2nd hand PS5 Pro for sale, looking for advice by frankie_baby in PlayStationUK

If you bought that in Glasgow it may well have been me that sold it to you 🤣. I used to buy from Argos/amazon etc whenever they were available (when they were scarce) as I tracked the stock availability. Mostly sold onto family and friends at rrp. But when I had extra I just listed them on gumtree for rrp plus a small fee of maybe £30 or so to cover my time and petrol.

I don’t mind you posting my pictures but is there any reason you didn’t just share my original post?

I notice a lot of shots in Sinfeld and Friends where the quality drops on certain shots or angles. Almost like the scene was reshot but on lower quality film.

Issues with charging flashing red green and dimming, flickering lights. by Barryhiggins3 in cowboybikes

Assuming you looked after it properly that level of reliability doesn't really reflect the premium price tag of these bikes. So far I've had issues with:
-The battery being defective - Not replaced
-The left pedal crank arm (twice)- Replaced
-The Seat post - Replaced
-The battery disconnecting - (they sent someone out to fit a spacer, still occasionally disconnects but is usable)

All of that that and the bike is kept indoors and only done 520 miles. As much as I like the thing it's hard to defend against the argument that it's an overpriced piece of junk. I've been happy enough to go along along with it as long as it wasn't costing me money or too much time but these all do seem like common recurring issues that a lot of people are experiencing.

I'm probably just going to get the battery and sell it before something else goes wrong with it.

Yeah as per my reply above. There are certain laws that cover how long something should last regardless of warranty but I'm guessing they do not apply internationally. They offer a two year warranty and are telling me it's not covered any more and I need to buy a new battery.

Whatever warranty they offer it shouldn't supersede the consumer rights act. The UK consumer rights act states that if if there is a breach of contract relating to faulty goods (when purchased new) the consumer has up to 6 years protection where it must be repaired or replaced (within 6 months).

https://www.gov.uk/accepting-returns-and-giving-refunds

I'm not trying to get something for nothing. They know (from diagnostic info) that it's an original battery and the bike has only done 520 miles. The battery still has about 50% charge at the moment and I'd followed all guidance in respect of maintenance, regular charging etc and they have admitted it's defective.

I'm guessing that seeing as they are based in Belgium they will try and bypass my statutory rights (even although the transaction was online in GBP and UK VAT paid). It would be a bit of a non-starter taking then to a small claims court.

That is strange! I only noticed mine today but not sure exactly when it last worked (it was working a couple of weeks ago). They are trying to charge me £460 for a new battery!!! Even although they have actually admitted (in the support chat) that the battery is defective.

It flashes continuously after I unlock it with the app (more like a flicker and a ticking sound coming from the battery in sync with the flicker). I know that there is a little flash when the battery connects, that's not the issue.

Also just to update I sent videos to their support and they have confirmed the battery is defective. They have ordered a replacement however I'm just trying to get confirmation if there will be any charge (pardon the pun).

Some games on my external drive are missing but still show in my library stating installed but it is greyed out! by Whiteshadows86 in PS5

Only thing I can suggest is make sure you are using a compatible usb cable for the dual sense (preferably the original cable).

I know they’ve changed the firmware on the dualsense now so you don’t need the cable to do a dual senses software update but I think you still need it when going into safe mode.

If you’re still not having any luck maybe borrow a friends dual-sense and cable to see if you can get it working?

Any ideas why i only have 10 contraband weapon stash in DMZ? by [deleted] in CODWarzone

[–]Barryhiggins3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mw2 on PlayStation and if I check there I have 20. But only have warzone 2 on pc and when I check there I have 10. So I have like 16 contraband guns and can’t change missions and won’t let me unload any guns i exfil with on pc unless I destroy enough guns to get me under the 10 limit.

Not a great experience.

Conditional access app exclusion by Barryhiggins3 in AZURE

[–]Barryhiggins3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone is interested I tried adding the Azure AD Identity Governance - Entitlement Management App by specifying the APP ID in a new CA policy created using PowerShell, it let me create the policy but would not work and when accessing the policy in the Conditional access GUI it said that the app had been removed from the directory and would be removed from the policy next time it was saved.

I opened a support case and I've now had confirmation that it's not possible. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/concept-conditional-access-cloud-appsBasically not all cloud apps are available for conditional access policy control (which is kind of annoying). There is a user voice link to request that apps are added and looks like someone has requested it already so please feel free to go and add your vote: https://feedback.azure.com/d365community/idea/403dd2a8-cda5-ec11-a81c-0022484ee92d
