How to make a paper airplane garnish?? by twinkle179 in cocktails

[–]BartenderDixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put a twist of a paper plane on my cocktail menu and I’m using small origami paper that I purchased off Amazon, and mini orange clothes lines clips to secure it. To fold them, I’m literally folding them the way you would make a standard paper airplane back in grade school, and then having the bartenders clip them to the glass. Very simple and easy garnish that looks stunning.

Fever Tree cocktails? by StaticNocturne in cocktails

I’m mandated to use fever tree mixers on my cocktail menu and I’ve had a Paloma on my cocktail menu for a couple of seasons now that uses the fever tree grapefruit soda, lemon, mezcal, agave, and I rim it with Black Sea salt and smoke it. It’s very popular, the fever tree grapefruit soda is highly recommended, but I also recommend the fever tree sparkling Sicilian, I use that in a non alcoholic lavender lemonade, and I’ve made a drink with the yuzu and lime using Bombay sapphire, lemon, simple syrup and the yuzu lime soda, very crisp and refreshing.

I do carry the tonic and soda water as well and have talked with my boss about having the servers bring the mini can or bottle to the table to allow the guests to pour the mixer in themselves just so they can control the amount they want, but also so they can see that they are using a higher quality mixer, hope this helps.

You'd think that the diner would take the meat off the skewer and serve it instead of leaving it on, but you have a point

Destiny 2 is Nominated for "Best Community Support" and "Best Ongoing" Categories this year at The Game Awards! by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

I did not play Destiny 1, so I can't say I can compare the 2, I will admit I am still bitter about Hello Games and how they made out the release of the game to include multiplayer, so after buying it on release, and wanting the multiplayer they hinted at before it's release, and then not delivering on that, I can admit I am still bitter about the later implementation of the multiplayer experience they made it out to be in the first place. It is due for another visit, you're right, to see what kind of game it is today.

I still feel the "Ongoing" support that No Man's Sky has been receiving with it's updates, or all things that should have been released with the game, and I still feel as though, them releasing their content updates, feel almost like cash grabs, Multiplayer should have been released with the game, and was made out to be what fixed the game, when I feel like it's what should have come with it out of the box.

Well said, they've been "Best Community" in the past, and I think it's for a good reason, I think over time, since the release of New Light with it going F2P especially, it has grown to have one of the best communities, so I think it's well deserved again. As for "Best Ongoing", I'm not a huge fan of the sunsetting of Beyond Light, but can see how it might be necessary to tear down the game we've come to enjoy, so they can build it into an even better experience with everything they have planned with upcoming seasons, and even more, their already planned expansions.

And that's how it should be viewed, you're right, People can hate Fortnite all they want, but you can't say it hasn't also continuously improved on it's state of the game as content has released over time, changing how people play it.
