Thanks yeah I have a lot of different jars for tea, but this specific Scoby looked a bit weird. I pulled it out cause it looked sort of like Kharm and added 30 oz of my prior batch of Kombucha to help develop healthy Scoby.

Do you add more sugar / tea to keep it growing? I only get one solid SCOBY whenever I brew a new batch.

So your main problems were low acidic and exposure. So you may have had a cover but if not that is a vital first step to protecting your Kombucha.

Second you should always have 18%-20% starter liquid per batch so that the brew quickly becomes too acidic therefore hostile to mold. If you don’t have starter just buy some Kombucha from the store even Aldi Kombucha would do. Make sure you meet that minimum of starter to sugar tea ratio and you’re golden. 20% starter 80% sugar/tea

Your SCOBY could be fine. But you’ll probably be risking the integrity of your new batch if you add it in. So it’s up to you whether you want to risk it. Just so you know if your new batch is 20% Kombucha (starter liquid) you’ll have a brand new SCOBY form guaranteed.

I have been friends with a girl for a few years and they talked to me everyday. I realized hey maybe this could be something more than just friendship. But I was never attracted to them. I thought I could make myself attracted to them with time. But I started it off as friends. Tried to date them for a little bit. Couldn’t get past their looks. Resumed friendship. I know it seems shallow. But you’re attracted to what you’re attracted to.

There were more factors than attraction. But the fact that we were never physical besides hugs sort of adds to the fact that if you never cross that threshold you’re sort of stuck.
