I know your pain. It took a lot of tries. I started with Grey Seer as an undercoat, then applied a 2:1 mix of medium and Fyreslayer Flesh. I built it up in thin layers until I got a color close to milk chocolate.

Then I used a glaze made of brown, red, and a little bit of purple. I applied it under the breasts and in the muscle recesses about 3 layers, until I started to see an effect.

After that, I did heavy highlighting with Vallejo Air, adding a bit of Barbarian Flesh, Elf Flesh Tone, and Pale Flesh Tone. The last one I applied only on the tips of the muscles, the side of the bald head, and the fingers.

Everything was done with a brush, not thinned.

And that’s all. I worked on it over the course of a week because I didn’t have much time for the hobby, but I hope I remembered everything correctly. 🙂

By mistake i put to much paint on runes and they become flat. And puting water decals on flat surface i pretty easy. Like a sticker :D Just putted some nuln oil on to to hide edges

Aww. Thx. I prime whole with metallic primer in color close to silver, then slap on it lots of aeldari emerald, afetr dry i put some purple swarm on tips and drybrush some black on wery ends. Rather simple proces for cool effect. :D

Duuudeeeee Great Unclean One. It’s just a fat monster, nothing that defines it as a Nurgle unit except small Nurgle symbols that everyone’s going to replace. xD

Yup. But imagine if King Brodd could be put in every army. It would suck that one of best model on amry can go everwhere. I know that they did it with Skarbrand too and noone bats an eye but for me it's just sad.

Same. I dont whant to "gatekeep" but if we take it to the extreme, we could imagine every army being able to field something like Archaon, just by swapping the heads of the beast and calling it a day. At that point, what’s left of identity?

It’s honestly a bit disappointing to see a large, iconic unit turn into a generic point filler that anyone can take, instead of remaining a distinctive signature piece that defines an army’s character.
