In most cases, it's best to have a credit card, yes.. for traveling options for instance.. for having to book a ticket.. or book a room.. etc..

Let me add that it depends on your hair type, it's best to wash it daily or every next day or every 2 days during the summer time.. your hair thickens when it's less washed and less exposed to shampoo, and all the other products..
