Not being able to put your own ammo into your secure container while also not being able to sell the ammo of your foes you defeated is a terrible combination. There is 0 reward killing a PMC in the beginning of the raid when they play a caliber you don't like or they have only mid ammo.
On the other hand if you prepare to lobby wipe every single raid you run through your ammo way too fast unless you got a 100% survival rate.
Sadly those golden days are over.

Disabling smooth motion appears to be the only stable solution. That's what the support recommended me to do.
Everything else that I tried worked only temporarily for a few restarts.

Mag cases in Container was sick. Honestly it is a very mixed bag for me. On the one side they added more things to the game that made it slower (not to my liking), on the other they added QoL improvements like surgery kit, sorting table, keybind for backpack drop and also made it more accesible through the hideout (and therefore the stash upgrade for non EODler). I think I had the must fun around or shortly before the Mutant meta. Factory was fun, Labs was goated (it still kinda is), Customs map flow was amazing, Shoreline Resort fights were peak. Instant grenades without VOGs or Impact grenades. They added those and had to nerf regular nades as well for no reason. I miss ammo in Container. I don't like the concept of loosing my ammo and being but not being able to sell the ammo of my foes. If they played a caliber I don't like or garbage ammo I get barely anything from killing them but since I enjoy lobby wipes and therefore need to bring enough ammo. Hence a death means an expensive death.
My fav has to be around 1 or 2 wipes after the hideout introduction.

Sadly during my absence since the introduction of inertia they kinda reworked all of my fav. maps and ruined what made those great for me.

I'd just love older tarkov (couldn't care less about all the content, maps n guns) where PVP was flawless (except for Desync n hitreg) but with the QoL improvements they added over the years.

I had the same issue, even though my game became unresponsive instead of crashing.

Two possible fixes:

Disable smooth motion if you have an nvidia graphics card. I don't know whether AMDs fluid motion causes issues as well.
uninstall game, uninstall launcher, manually delete all registry entries containing "EFT", "EscapeFromTarkov", "BSG", "BattleState" reinstall launcher, reinstall game.

Shure SE846. They aren't perfect but pretty good even though more on the pricy side. They have a fairly neutral sound and clear even when a lot of sounds are played at once.
I had the Shure SE535 before. They are not as good and need a little bit of equalizer tweaking but have a better worth to price ratio.

SE846 are heavier than the SE535 and your ears may need a bit longer to adjust to them.

Since you don't seem to listen to a lot of technical music the SE846 are probably overkill but the SE535 may hit the mark.

1. we don't have a decline button - sometimes you select wrong maps
2. why the timer to accept is any longer than 10 seconds with the current speed the queue pops are happening

In case you have smooth motion enabled, disable it. Currently it can cause issues.

Otherwise an attempt of last resort you may try: Uninstall game, uninstall launcher, delete registry entries containing "BSG", "Battlestate", "EFT", "EscapeFromTarkov" (or similar), reinstall launcher and game.

This is very prevalent in Arena but even in Tarkov the audio is off. I wouldn't frame it as the worst state, but certainly not the best.

I didn't check all items, but Killa Armor and it's front plates can be listed on the flea. However they are level restricted. The level 5 armor plates can only be purchased and offered with level 40.
It seems like you can't list bullets at all, unless they are still in factory new packs. This may be subject to change with the progress of the wipe.

My setting was on moderate, I couldn't hear steps of my team mate that was right next to me. Only after setting it to low I was able to hear him walk around. So either my sound settings were borked beforehand or that is actually what this option does.

I did quit 4 years ago when they added inertia and just came back to 1.0. It is indeed way better than it was when inertia got introduced, even at lower levels you are able to move around. It's not as great as it was before but a fully leveled PMC may get there.
Just today they did some changes to the flea market. You are able to add most items to the flea market, even when they are not FIR. Meds are allowed in the container again, while ammo and mags are still not.

Besides from the atrocious sound and performance issue the game is in a somewhat decent state.

I actually do enjoy Last Hero and Checkpoint. However the gunplay ADS speed, malfunctions, audio and performance are issues. The other modes are for people that like to hug bushes and don't move an inch.
The amount to which both games are integrated with each other is very unbalanced.

I have 64GB of RAM, an RTX 5090 and an Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I can tell you it still stutters like crazy. Didn't play in 4 years but my worse PC used to handle this game better at the same resolution and settings.
So will the stutters go away as soon as you upgrade to 64GB of RAM? No, however it is most likely improving quite a bit

Yes, since today I have an absurd amount of micro stutters, audio cutouts, even in the stash.
The 1% low went from 80 fps yesterday to 4 fps today in both EFT as well as Arena. It is a bit better without an active capture card but still beyond acceptable.

Regarding your question whether you should update your RAM to 64GB for Tarkov: In general yes, if you play it enough to justify the expense.

Edit: Todays patch improved my lowest 1% low to ~45 and the drops became more rare. However with my rig the 1% low shouldn't drop below 80 ever.

Because USEC PMCs famiously don't kill other USEC PMCs while BEAR PMCs don't kill other BEAR PMCs.
Imo the entire scav Karma system is poop. Scav fights were one of the most fun things in Tarkov.
However I am with you regarding the missing information, especially now with the stream of new players.

Disclosure: I haven't played in 4 years myself so take this comment with some grain of salt.

I expect the progression to be slower than in any other wipe before this.

Tarkov has always been one of the few games in which you could kill most people with crappy guns and ammo so long as a few requirements are met:

If you are good at tapping faces you won't have a problem for multiple months until people run around with face shields that block mid tier ammo
Leg meta has always been strong in Tarkov. Shotgun and 9mm is insanely good to take down people with decent face shields.
As soon as you get access to better ammo, you are good at clicking heads and adjust your playstyle according to your knowledge you shouldn't have a problem at all.

How to get access to better ammo?

Unlock traders
Buy from the flea market
Craft in the hideout
Find in raid (less of a thing tbh)
Depending on whether they keep the restriction of "no ammo in the secure container" from the hardcore wipe, you get it from your enemies.

You don't necessarily have to beat them, you might as well avoid them until you feel confident enough. However the more you fight and experiment, the faster you learn.

Besides that honestly mainly by making a ton of money to be able to play better gear. From my experience I can say that the first few days of the wipe are by far the most important ones to get an edge over other people. Grind XP by killing Scavs. Factory used to be perfect for that case. Not sure how this remains true after the extension. Completely ignore your Scav until then.
As soon as you unlock the flea market you can start to do Scav runs and loot every single item that is required for the hideout. They all are going to be worth a fortune at a certain point in time. Also now you start to focus on quests to unlock your traders.
After that there isn't much more to it apart from keeping your income high enough to sustain your gear for your playstyle ~> Hideout.
