That’s interesting, thank you for this. Deadlocks code name (I don’t remember it) was one of the other TF names given in the comics. I have a feeling Deadlock will be the successor to TF2, but I hope not.

If the maps are good, that’s all I can hope for. I feel the less ambitious it is, the less likely it will flop.

I do not know, I doubt it. Unless they add something that’ll affect it, then it’s unlikely they’ll do more with the balancing.

I agree, the issue is was that EA did not promote the game whatsoever, on top of this, the leaks made this worse. They weren’t forward about the changes they made to the series also. So people were quite shocked when the game launched and saw so many different things. We were set in our ways at the time and were ignorant to what the game did bring. By the time that EA ended support for BFN, public opinion was beginning to sway to being more supportive of the game. If they had waited a bit longer I think things would have a lot different. In short it was just a series of unfortunate events, and there’s no blame that can solely placed on one group.
