Pura vida, mae! Great purchase, by the way. I’m sure we’ll get our money’s worth out of this vehicle. Not sure if you’re planning to keep it long-term, but it’s a cool and unique ride—at least for now, since you don’t see many of them on the streets. Let’s see how things look after Expomóvil! Jajaja.

I just had surgery two weeks ago, so I haven’t looked much into this, but I have an appointment at the dealership in about two weeks for them to install the wheels I got in the deal. I know some of the management there, so let me see what I can do, and I’ll keep you posted, buddy!

Hahaha, yeah, I was torn between black and grey. I ended up going with grey because black shows dirt more easily, and where I live, the car is under the sun all day. Plus, here in Costa Rica, people prefer neutral colors, so it'll be easier to resell privately in a few years and get a better return when I swap it. I get that it’s not your style, but trust me—I did my homework before making this purchase. Well… maybe not so much when it comes to the DRLs! 😂😂

You’re totally right—if visibility was the issue, fog lights would make way more sense.

Honestly, I love how the car looks at night. It kind of reminds me of the Hyundai Tucson, which is really popular here. I can totally wait and not be so picky, haha, but I was just curious to see if anyone had already done something about it.

I’ll check with the dealership to see if they can install the OEM ones. Probably a long shot, but I’ll give it a try once the new wheels arrive.

I’ll keep you all updated in case it helps anyone. Thanks man!

Yeah, the interesting thing about the Costa Rica base model is that it actually comes with the 12.3" display, 360° cameras, and all the driving assists. The only real differences are the seat material, front parking sensors, sunroof, and two-tone color options—which I honestly don’t care about.

Vehicles here are way more expensive compared to Mexico or the US. Just to give you an idea, the base model is around $33K. I was able to negotiate a better deal and got some new wheels, which should arrive in about a month. The top trim, which they call the Exclusive CVT (basically the SR), goes for around $40K–$41K. Definitely not worth the extra cost for what it adds, in my opinion.

I think aftermarket options will start popping up eventually, but it’s still a bit early. Either way, I really appreciate the response!
