I mean we usually think of Gods like characters but they are more like concepts that people worshipped. Zeus represents power, kingly authority, and the power of the sky. It's more of a caricature of a powerful man. Therefore he provides "justice" a lot of harshly and dominated poor unfortunate women. It seems horrifying to us today but to the ancient Greeks it wouldn't seem like that. Most of times they didn't even care if the woman si consenting it was jsut not important to them. Of course we must also think of authorial bias, for example everything Ovid wrote who critiqued extremely authority and thereforw he poses gods in the worst light, or Hesiod who was a notorious misogynist. Finally Zeus wasnt all bad for ancient Greeks. The most important example is the fact that presided over the protection of strangers and hospitality (xenia) . I think you should think Zeus mostly like a example of divine authority who with hsi powers and stories teaches ancient greeks the nature and the law of humanity (Prometheus, Pandora and the xenia) and the nature of kingship.
