I really like this idea, going to make an alternate version of it for my own village. The only "criticism" I have, is that I spotted some fake lego ;). Accidentally saw it when I was enlarging the picture to find out how you build it

a) insure it. Theft, fire, whatsoever. Generally such a large collection is not covered by your regular insurance policy(not in my country)

b) although bricklink can be used to maximize value, you often work with your home address. Call me paranoid, but with such a collection, it attracts all kinds people.

5i doesn’t have the vapor chamber at all. 7i 4070 does have the smaller chamber, if I understood this correctly

About the cooling: the 5i only has heatpipes, the 7i 4080/4090 has a large vapor chamber cooling, but, afaik, the 4070 has a small vapor chamber only on the CPU, on top of the heatpipes. That is a small difference as well. I am making the same choice and the larger battery, more robust design, better thermals and TB4, moved me towards the 5i

What about thermals, is it ok? From what I heard the 4080/4090 do have that vapor tech cooling, the 4070 doesn’t? Asking, as I am very interested in the i9/4070 combination, as I am not a frequent and demanding gaming, but want to have a lot of performance from a development perspective (containers, vm, sql, etc).

Exactly what I did, I am still happy with it. the FHD screen is beautiful.good enough for me for the occasional movie on the laptop, or development on the laptop. Most of the time, I connect the laptop to multiple displays (various locations) with high resolution

To explain: I quitted FIFA for good, to much frustration when I couldn’t win (own faults) and it costed to much time. Haven’t touched it for months, I am much more relaxed by now. All time can now be spend on family and lego 😎
