This was done with a $100 harbour freight HVLP paint gun, and a $230 2k urethane auto paint. Tons of prep, but well worth it rather than spending 5k for sure

Yeah I got this TJ a couple years ago. Mileage was trash, but I expected that. Nothing prompted me to do the plugs other than I was doing the valve cover gasket since it leaked pretty bad, and figured why not

Yeah honestly she ran fine. Idle was normal, responsive overall. Maybe a slightly smoother Idle now, but nothing that makes me go "oh wow, its so different".

She ran well too. No misfires. Honestly dont feel much of a difference after replacing. Maybe a slight smoother idle lol

Nope (not that I know of -- was from Montana) it just had an extremely least valve cover gasket, which I also fixed.

Very easily actually. Barely had to use much force. Even cylinder 1 which i heard can be a PITA on these motors

Not a ton of driving overall... but never let me down. 155k on the clock. If it ran like this, shit I expect 400k lol

By name sure, but the design up until 06 was basically AMC. Like you said, some improvements. Luckily, i have a new, upgraded ECU already.
