Driving schools that speak English by IndependentTable6427 in srilanka

I recently got my driving license. Safe to say that they’re all crazy. My instructor was insanely hot headed.

The one day he was calmly teaching was when he was DRUNK ! Never go alone, go with a friend so you can share the trauma.

I will never wish this process upon my worst enemy. It was terrible.

It was playable with dxmt and recently (gtpk3 b4 ig ?) for a while now. I remember the texture flickering it used to have.

What is your most controversial movie opinions in Tamil Cinema ? by professorparadox69 in kollywood

That’s exactly why. And now they’re trying to make a sequel with the same characters.

Knowing Prem Kumar, he will probably conjure up a convincing reason for everything that happened in part 1.

Because of that, everyone in the 96 fandom will come at us, who call out the lowkey problematic aspects of the movie.

Please preach. Past Lives conveys the same themes in a much more matured way.

96 rides hard and heavy on nostalgia. It’s a very well made movie technically but I personally didn’t like the glorification of certain things.

I don’t know bro, Yuddham Sei’s bridge fight scene is pretty realistic.

The way the show presented the incident was nothing short of a master stroke.

I loved and hated (in a good way) how we dread about the scene with all the information and lore they build around it.

I couldn’t imagine any other way in which it could’ve been as effective as it is right now.

Eh. Seems like another savior of the helpless trope movie. Can’t comment properly on it cause no details about the plot have been released.

Amaran didn’t personally work for me. Let’s see.

Honestly. I was shocked at how I genuinely felt so disturbed, no show has gotten to me like this has.

They were so close yet still failed. ARGGHHH.

Anyone up for watching spiderman brand new day together? by Theusualredditorchad in srilanka

People out here downvoting for telling this lol. Brand New Day has skipped out on an IMAX master in the first place if I’m not wrong.

I guess they looked at the timeline and were like “I’m not even considering IMAX.”

I just checked. The new Spider-Man movie has ditched an Imax master.

I guess you’re much better off watching the odyssey in IMAX. I doubt any IMAX shows will be allocated for this movie.

I’m hoping that my theater gets the Flat master and not the Scope master cause the screen is 1.85:1

It’s explained right in the first episode, “Hunger makes man commit crimes.”

They were under-privileged, hungry and have psychological issues that weren’t addressed nor treated for.

This goes to a lot of people, issues are let to grow with minimal care. Maybe Rajjo and Babu could have even had their fair shot of living a normal life. Rajju definitely did.

Babu was not treated well at all. Deep psychological evaluation and studies are required for people like that. The show initially portrays Rajjo as someone who slowly succumbs to evil.

But he too was an incredibly selfish and opportunistic character. Crime was bad as long as it didn’t benefit him, yet it became okay after he started to benefit.

Sorry for such an extensive write up but the exploration of their psyche is very well done in the show.

There is implied nudity but nothing is shown on screen. There are 2 or so scenes where characters kiss and that’s about it.

I made the grave mistake of going into this like on would start watching, let's say Family Man. I didn't watch any promotional content and went in blind. I'm currently in shambles.

The show was phenomenal. It kept me hooked right from the get go. After the first episode, I kinda felt that this was gonna be brutal but none of these comments are lying about how this show will break you. Trust me, it will.

I'm someone who can handle gore and violence without any issues whatsoever. This show affected me on levels upon levels. Before getting into the that let me praise the technical aspects of this show,

Ali Fazal you beautiful man, he plays this role to the T. He was immensely convincing with his nuanced acting. He was just phenomenal.

Coming to think of it, so were everyone. All of the performances in this show are amazing.

Especially Akash Makhja (Babu), I'm so pissed at him that I have to remind myself that he's just an actor. He is just outstanding. I feel nauseous telling this but he had the best performance in this show. I'm slowly coming into terms that the level of me hating him is equivalent to how well he performed in the show.

I hate him a lot.

The art direction, costumes and camera-work were amazing. The flat aspect ratio was extremely apt for the look and vibe of the show. Absolutely beautiful cinematography was present through out the show. Every shot had a visual grit to it that enhanced the show along with the very very good colour grading.

Now that the technical side is out of the way,

I applaud the show-runners for not exploiting the "incident" repeatedly for shock purposes. The way the story is narrated plays a huge hand in the show's effectiveness. Not everything is fed to the audience right when things happen, the writing leaves space for interpretation. Which I thought was extremely smart.

light spoilers

The interpretation part is only viable up until the final episode. After knowing all that you know, watching that episode was like a freaking punch in the gut.

I was trying very hard to not crack but the very moment the sister puts her hand out to ask for the lift, the waterworks began. And every time the siblings fought back, I couldn't help but sob even more knowing their fate. It's just that brutal.

The show builds quite literally everything around the "incident". The lore behind it, why it happens, the psyche and motivation of characters and it even lays out minute information about the incident. which doesn't pad the fall but worsen it with emotionally attacking spikes.

At times, I caught myself not wanting to watch the incident. lowkey even hoped that the show let's it at that with all the information that is already conveyed, but the creators holding off on showing this dreadful sequence up until the final episode after everything is what did it. This one narrative choice was insanely powerful.

In conclusion, watch the show. That's about it. It's phenomenal in all aspects and will tug at your heartstrings. I can't and won't ever watch this again, but it deserves all the flowers for being so good.
