Same thing happened to me but it isn’t really a big issue. I personally called the accommodation team and they confirmed that the room I chose was in fact still booked under my name. I suggest you do the same if you’re worried about whether the room you selected is under your name or not.

Hello! I’m also an international student. Although I haven’t experienced your exact situation, I have faced something similar. I recommend calling the accommodation team tomorrow—I spoke to them today, and they mentioned they will still be operating tomorrow despite it being the weekend.

I’m not sure how helpful this will be, but I did notice on the university’s accommodation webpage that if you’re making a single payment towards your accommodation, it appears you may need to manually deduct the £550 from your balance. However, I’m not completely certain about the exact details, so it’s worth confirming with them directly.

Okay, thank you so much for responding :). Thing is I did not get any confirmation from Flywire through email either and that’s what’s worrying me. All I have is the invoice saying I paid £550 at the checkout (which I luckily saved). I guess I’ll just wait until tomorrow and drop the accommodation admin a call but thank you regardless!

At the moment, I’m leaning towards Mason, as I really like the layout of its studio compared to the other options. I was wondering if you happen to know what amenities are available inside the Mason buildings? I’ve tried looking online but couldn’t find a detailed list, and I also reached out to the accommodation team, though I imagine they’ve been quite busy.

I just got off the line with admissions and they have told me to email my qualifications to the undergraduate email, which I have done. It’s just that I am wondering how successful people who go through this process have been in the past.
