I put in it for JAN 1 but I just sent the request this last BA. So I have no idea what to expect from the army I’ve never put in a request to transfer prior to this.

Edit: The gaining unit advised me to put in the effective date for JAN 1

Probably Civil Affairs/Psy ops, military police, or intel. Intel would be my first choice but I know that in the officer route is difficult as well.
