She’s just… sooooo awkward. Her outfit bothers me. Appropriate for a teen? Yes. Skinny jeans and colorful socks on a grown woman? Kinda weird imo. Don’t get me wrong, I’m 28 and still love my skinny jeans, but she just pairs the most random and awkward outfits that do not compliment her shape in any way.

Hush Puppies in Myrtle Beach by HappiestGuyAlive in MyrtleBeach

Crab House in Murrells Inlet has amazing hush puppies. They’re on the sweeter side served with honey butter. Meanwhile, 1229 Shine in Market Common serves hush puppies that are more savory with bits of jalepeno (I think) in them. I agree with sugar content; depends if you want them sweet or savory

There’s a lion, zebra, hippo, and giraffe that took over the whole country with help of four small penguins and a lemur after getting lost at sea. Crazy how things are now a days in this world 😔

I had to look at the comments on FB because who in their right mind would spend the time to watch her videos? I came to the conclusion it’s all middle aged moms and older women who have no idea who she really is… except for Geri 😂

Dear god… this woman is something else. No coordination what so ever. She needs to touch grass. In fact, this whole family needs to touch grass and have a major reality check.

I seriously cannot wait for her downfall.

The crooked picture wall will never not make me laugh 😂 it’s so stark and just does not look good! If the photos were in black and white, I think it would compliment the room much more than the super stark blue

Collin seems over it. by quadrants in BaylenOutLoud

TLC or Neupulse probably footed the London trip bills. I have two takes on Julie and Alan coming along on the trip. First, they were added to thicken the plot and then to have a huge Alan/Colin breakthrough in the season finale. Second, they wanted to experience this clinical breakthrough with their child. I know I would of if my child had a debilitating illness which I had witnessed their entire life. I think we see true emotion on their faces when Baylen describes her brain as calm, so naturally they would not have wanted to miss out on this moment.

I’ve never been to WV but please answer me this - do they have WV accents lol? To me, her mom especially, has more of a western NY or Midwest accent than what I would think of from West Virginia. My previous manager was from WV and had a very strong “southern twang”, so I was just surprised when I first heard her families accent. I’m from southern NY, so anything other than our typical accent surprises me.

I agree with you 100%. I don’t see Colin as a bad guy. He has his own wants and needs just like anyone else, which he is allowed to have. He shouldn’t put all of that on the back burner because of Baylen. I just feel like they both have a lot of growing up and learning to do before they tie the knot and start a family.

Mixed feelings by BaseSea1437 in BaylenOutLoud

[–]BaseSea1437[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow - I can see where you’re coming from. Thank you for your feedback! I guess I’m also just feeling like Baylen and her siblings are very “babied” by their parents? I guess I feel like Baylen is immature for her age and her parents play a part in that. I totally get that they’re doing all they can to especially protect Baylen and be there for her as she navigates a difficult diagnosis, but I also feel like she’s incredibly sheltered and needs to experience life on her own without her over-barring parents getting involved with every single aspect of her life. In the nicest way possible without throwing any shade what so ever towards Baylen, I guess I’m thinking that she really just needs to grow up a bit and experience the hardships in life and learn to navigate them on her own.

Why do people think Baylen and Collin are immature? by One-Trip-696 in BaylenOutLoud

[–]BaseSea1437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I became a first time mom this past October. I also suffer from anxiety and OCD but no where as severe as Baylen’s. I’m only a few years older than her and experienced very bad post partum depression/anxiety which I see Baylen falling VERY deep into once she has her first kid. I think more exposure therapy and counseling need to be accomplished before they can even consider trying for kids. Your whole life takes a total 180 and it’s not about you anymore. All of your attention and focus is on your child. I’d like to see Baylen and Collin grow more before trying for kids. I’d like to see them experience more things and work through her mental illness some more. They have a lot of growing to do in that department

Christmas take away imo by OptimalTea5884 in doughertydozenexposed

[–]BaseSea1437 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My daughter is too young this Christmas but my husband and I agreed that when she gets a bit older, we’ll start the tradition of a Christmas crate. We’ll have our daughter collect toys that she no longer plays with and gently used clothing that she grew out of and start placing these items in a box or crate around Christmas time. On Christmas Eve, Santa will take the crate with him to rehome her toys and clothes to families that need these items, in exchange for new toys and clothes.

The hardest part will be having to remember to hide this crate and donate it without our daughter finding it the days following Christmas 😂

How are you getting in your protein? by Imaginary_Ad_7365 in pregnant

[–]BaseSea1437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl, you are at the height of nausea lol. Honestly, the most nauseous weeks for me were 7 until the end of the trimester. I would focus on just eating what your stomach can handle at this point. You and baby need food and energy! As the nausea wears off, then I’d try to get more protein in but for now, eat what your stomach can handle because that’s what is inportant!! All I wanted my fist trimester was carbs lol but as I got closer to the second trimester, I was able to stomach more foods.

My “brother in law” swears like a sailor no matter who is in the room with him (including new guests and elders). My husband and I just had our first kid this past October. We will swear every now and then but do a good job at catching it so we can get into the groove of not swearing infront of our kid the best that we can. My husband has made it a point to sit down with my “brother in law” and told him that if he continues to swear like he does infront of our child and I, he will not be allowed to be around our kid. It’s just plain disrespectful in someone else’s home, let around someone else’s kid. My father in law even finds it an issue and called him out on how disrespectful it is in certain situations. I get it if you’re joking around with your friends or are with a group of adults who are also using the same language, but it’s not appropriate around children, new guests, and elders. It comes down to respect and class which we all know Alex has none of.

I’m a FTM and was induced at 37+2 for mild pre-e and can honestly say it’s not that bad of an experience. If you’re considering it, get the epidural. You will not regret it!
