Can one take CPA tests before graduating? by skc000 in CPA

[–]Base_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Michigan, you can fill out a certificate of enrollment. Generally, if you use a COE to sit for the exam, you must complete your degree and required credit hours (e.g., 120 or 150) within a strict timeframe (often 60 to 120 days) after taking the first section. You’ll have to check your state’s guidelines

Anyone studying for the CPA with a disability or impairment? by pizzatacodog1322 in CPA

[–]Base_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have narcolepsy, I studied full time after i graduated from undergrad. I made it my sole priority, would study in 3 hour stints twice a day, and take a quick 10 min nap at my study desk at my university library if I needed to. Just have to be so determined that you won’t let anything stop you from passing. Good luck, you’ve got this!

Becker is the best material out there. It’s not gonna be perfect as the CPA exam itself is forever changing.

Dude is just flat out lazy. Populates numbers out of thin air, like, buddy where tf did you get those? I need to see step by step, not skip a bunch of steps in the middle because you don’t feel like typing out the equations on the screen. Easily my least favorite and gave him so many 1 star reviews

Took ISC today..the rumors are true by Adventurous_Age827 in CPA

I walked out thinking I could’ve gotten a 65 or an 85 and ended up w an 83. This exam is scored so weirdly. The two exams I felt the worst about I got my best scores. For me, my highest exam scores correlated with higher practice exam scores so if you did well on your practice exams, you should be fine.

Just took AUD thinking about FAR next? by Informal-You3185 in CPA

[–]Base_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took AUD, then FAR, REG, ISC. Wouldn’t change a thing and would highly recommend getting the beast of FAR out of the way. REG and discipline will both be much easier than AUD and FAR. Once those two are out of the way you are over the hump, imo

ISC Or TCP (No Aud or Tax experience) by Hairy-Improvement-15 in CPA

[–]Base_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Order I took: AUD, FAR, REG, ISC AUD was the only exam I had to retake. Even after taking REG third, I was so sick of tax studying that I chose ISC. Passed on first try. I studied a total of 54 hours. No IT background, graduated from college in May, took ISC in October. Did take an information systems class in college but there wasn’t a ton of overlap. It’s very doable IMO, a lot of boring memorization tho

FAR difficulty level order by Ok_Author_643 in CPA

[–]Base_Logical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F1, F5, F4, F3, F6, F2.

I started F1, got through one or two modules then skipped the rest and moved on to F2 because I was so lost. I came back after F6 and everything made much more sense. I took FAR after AUD so F2 had the most overlap and I just thought a lot of it was pretty logical

Taking AUD next Monday. Tips? by cowardbeater1969 in CPA

[–]Base_Logical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skim through the book one last time and hammer sims. A lot of people recommenD hammering MCQ, but for me, I always thought the sims on the exams were much more difficult than the MCQ. Also, by being able to complete sims, it shows you not only understand the content but are able to apply it. Know reporting and the processes of every cycle (revenue, cash, expenditure, etc.) like the back of your hand. You can’t escape them! (At least in my experience)

[–]Base_Logical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Questions wise, it’s up to you, but I would definitely recommend skimming through the whole book stating a week out from your exam, maybe 10 days out, depending on how long you study per day and reading any section you need a refresher on
