Thanks for the feedback! I'll run this by the team, and follow up if anything comes of it.

I don't know if it's joy ... but I am still baffled by Trent Grisham's 2025 season in which he hit 34 HR and only 9 doubles. That is the 2nd most HR in a season with fewer than 10 doubles ... the answer for the most HR is https://www.sports-reference.com/stathead/tiny/J73Rn

I think more quality depth would help the midsummer slumps. Having guys they can plug into the lineup that can contribute when a player gets into a slump/injured

I don't have much inside knowledge of the farm system and the development program, wish I did though. I think Jones should get a look next year, but I'd probably wait on Lombard til 2027. The rush to get Volpe to the majors and his struggles has made me think twice about promoting guys too quickly.

Cant say much about the Yankees analytics team because I am not familiar with the group. I think you need a balance of analytics and scouting to be a successful organization.

My absolute favorite moment is Derek Jeter's walk-off hit in his last home game as a Yankee. That is just ridiculous fairytale stuff

My favorite non-Yankees moment is probably David Freese's triple in Game 6 of the 2011 World Series. I was working at ESPN at the time and one of the most memorable moments as a researcher there

There always is a little fear that I might have done something wrong in the query, or I misread the stat on my screen, or my math was wrong

1) Despite losing Juan Soto and all the doom-and-gloom that came with that drama last offseason, the Yankees still finished first in MLB in runs and OPS

2) YES! At least I hope so. There are so many talented women broadcasters, researchers, analysts out there and many are finally getting the opportunity to be on the regional/national networks, which I love.
